PBF beats the **** outta loma. Who cares about combo punching? It only matters against overmatched opponents. Being able to throw single shots faster and more accurate is more important in a boxing match. That dictates tempo and wins fights combo punching doesn't.
IMO, they are both in the same general class. Floyd was marginally better than Loma in most departments. Loma is a better combination puncher. Floyd became a one-shot sharpshooter above 140, but in his early days at 130, he could throw combinations. Loma does that more and better. They both have losses, or in Floyd's case, a loss. Floyd's just wasn't scored as such. Floyd is overall better and would, IMO, best-for-best at 130, beat Loma 9 times out of 10. But it would be a great fight to watch.
Loma is a machine just keeps slipping and looking for openings, Floyd was just a pot-shotter and a counter puncher he didn`t use feints to set up shots so waited for his opponents to make mistakes.
