Lightweight, 15 rounds, who gets it done?

Leonard was a fistic marvel, but we see he had a lot of close fights with slippery fighters. In that era defensively sound fighters were awarded with hearing the final bell, that's it. I don't even think Leonard was that crafty, I think he was a knockout artists who was crafty by the standards of his day so his defensive acumen was much exaggerated.

Buchanan, conversely, was slick, awkward and indefatigable. The dude just kept jabbing and moving. A stylistic nightmare for almost anyone. That might actually be Duran's greatest win... and he needed a foul to cap it off.

I am picking Buchanan. He might suffer some scares, but Leonard never puts him away and eats plenty of right jabs himself.

Very well written, and I agree, personally I think Ken gets alittle underrated, I think Ken gets it done but it’s not a easy night

I think Leonard gets it done. He is way too accomplished and clever even for Buchanan or Duran

You think Johnny Dundee was better than Buchanan and Duran? He was incredible, but I dunno if I would go that far.
