Remember that Catterall is not only a mandatory, but it's a fight that Taylor is contractually obliged to honour after paying Catteral step-aside money to let the Ramirez unification take place. I'm pretty certain Josh has no real desire to fight Catteral and would rather be moving straight up, but I'd think far less of him if he didn't honour it. Catterall could easily have torpedo'd the Ramirez fight for Taylor.

 

If he does he gets gobbled up simple as that.

It will be great to have an elite fighter who is not afraid to fight anyone at the weight. I like his chances but even if he’s not successful he will give any of the top guys a tough fight. He will bring some excitement to 147 when he gets there.

 

I have nothing against taylor moving up and not fighting teo, **** teo, he's an *******. Actually I think that it is the way to go, 140 is utter trash right now.

This is different from not fighting teo to fight other guys in 140, for me that makes no sense.

 

Keep him away from the elite or he will get destroyed. Conor Benn or Amir Khan would work well for him.
