He was nip and tuck with Prograis you really think he has a chance against monsters like my boys EJ, DSG, Bud and Boots Ennis.
P4P#6 (too high) welter Spence beats P4P #1 (too high) super middle/light heavy ie. Clenelo but P4P#5 light welter Taylor doesn't have a prayer of beating P4P#6 welter Spence Taylor has unified an entire division in just 18 fights Spence didn't even win a world title until his 22nd one Taylor has fought more punchers in 18 fights than Spence has in 27 Algieri Mikey Danny Peterson Are career 140 pounders or blown up 135s That just leaves damaged goods Brook and Porter All of JT's best wins have come against career 140 pounders sans Miguel Vazquez, Not most being career 135 pounders and a blown up 126 pounder Taylor is very talented and skillful, hits very hard and has a very good chin and he doesn't pull ouch that really hurt faces when caught clean by non punchers like Spence does Taylor isn't a Loma level skillful wizard but no one in the sport is or even close Least of all meat and potatoes no special effects Spence who isn't even as skillful as Taylor A seven fight novice 140 pound Taylor who was coming into the ring at 149 bashed up Spence's best win Shawn Porter, a razor-close life and death decision win that many felt Porter won or at least earned a draw including myself, in his own gym and dropped and sent current welter champ Ugas to the hospital during those sessions. JT is bigger at the weight, stronger and much more experienced and much better now and will be bigger, stronger and more powerful at 147 than he is now. The JT who bashed up Porter who was a welter and 26-1-1 at the time and Ugas hadn't fought anyone. Porter and his father were both very impressed by Taylor after sharing a ring with him This content is protected 'There are reports of the light-welterweight seriously troubling former world champion Shawn Porter in sparring' ''I really caught a glimpse of what was to come when Josh was out with me in Las Vegas ahead of my fight with Leo Santa Cruz in 2017. Josh was sparring former world welterweight champion Shawn Porter, ahead of only his eighth fight, and I remember thinking, 'This guy is unreal' because he bossed the spar.'' ''When Josh Taylor used to spar the gym came to a standstill.. unbelievable stuff! I remember seeing him as a pretty green novice professional sparring Shawn Porter in Shawn Porter's gym and punching his head in'' --Carl ''The Jackal'' Frampton Timestamped This content is protected This content is protected Spence KO1 bum Taylor
Don’t be believe what you hear about sparring stories. A proper competitive contest with smaller gloves on at 147 pounds is a different story. Though Ugas is not one of the four I am talking about. I said DSG, EJ, Bud and Boots Ennis who will all stop JT.
Taylor is a fantastic fighter. Few have achieved what he has in the same number of fights. I give him a fair chance against any of the WWs.
I dont think Teofimo would even want that fight right now... Two cupcake warm ups from now, sure. Consecutive losses really would damage the profile Teofimo created for himself off the Lomachenko win.
Ironically much of the hype surrounding Spence when he was coming up revolved around sparring rumours and his fans were blowing a lot of smoke up his ass because of his alleged gym exploits. What? You don't remember all the talk of him dropping Broner in the gym and giving Floyd a black eye? Weird how the rules seem to change, eh? But I'm very used to that It's just sparring. 'The legend of Errol Spence Jr. has been whispered in boxing circles for quite some time. You may have heard his name tossed around as the guy who was rumored to drop Adrien Broner in a sparring session or the sparring partner who gave Floyd Mayweather a black eye during his preparation for Robert Guerrero. The rumors have lingered without validation or flat out denial for a few years now but it only left people wondering:
I think JT beats DSG. DSG doesn't ever seem to want it enough. Doesn't throw enough, doesn't move enough. Of course, Danny has a chance. He has power and he's not a bum
