Ricky Burns is fighting this weekend at Lightweight. He is a former World champion, not a big puncher and has a lot of miles on the clock. Benn and Hearn may consider throwing him a bone at some point.

As he should after his wars with Cedric Peynaud followed up by defending his WBA continental title 8 or so times against powerhouse names such as Jussi Koivula, Steve Jamoye and Sebastian Formella amongst others and the real reason why he refuses to fight fellow UK rivals as well as anyone with more than a 50% KO rate.

Any version of Thurman steamrolls Benn, so hopefully he and Eddie go for it

Hearn has done an interview saying they're looking at bigger names than Avanesyan such as Guerrero, Porter and Broner.

Guerrero is 38, Porter retired 3 weeks ago and Broner has just come out of prison.

Khan is a coward. If Khan had any balls left he'd be facing Conor Benn not Brook.

Thurman is the most overrated fighter of the last decade. He's an average fighter. And inactive. Benn would be the favourite right now surely.

I'd have Thurman a strong favourite based on wins over Porter and Garcia.

Unfortunately, I think Thurman is done as a fighter. Soon as he eloped and got married, the flame went out

Eddie Hearn’s latest interview is horrific, really cheesed me off even for someone with their eyes open. Basically saying he’d consider the Ava fight, but no one knows who he is. Benn is being built correctly, and will fight big names, naming Porter, Broner and Guerrero. Given Porter just retired, Guerrero is a never was in reality and Broner is Broner. All he’s talking about is making Benn a “global name” and making him a lot of money.

Completely shitting on the fans again.

The disrespect they have attached to Porters name over th last 12 months is a ****ing joke. No wonder the Americans don't like him.
