He is a Fury fan. The same Fury whose claim to fame is beating an old Klitschko who in his opinion news nothing special.
Wlad should enjoy retirement. He isn't going to beat Fury or Usyk, and there is just no senior guy for him to fight, since the Haye fight was a stinker, his brother is still his brother, and Cory Sanders is deceased. Maybe Ross Purity?
Coming back at that are either needs great peds or a huge punch and chin. The punch he has, the chin probably not.
You beat me to it H.H. Looking at some of the guys who fought into their 40's Foreman, Holmes, Duran, Wlad is in better shape than they were but they possessed abilities he doesn't have #1 a good chin. An old fighter with a bad chin who hasn't fought in 5 years?
At 45, Wlad can still be a contender but he already lost to Fury and AJ. The time that has passed will not have aided Wlad's chances of winning a rematch with either of them.
There's nothing to gain for Wlad by coming back and risking being violently KOd by a top heavyweight. He could very well inflict one himself but the odds aren't in his favour. The AJ fight should have been one of the crowning highlights of his career, and if they had fought a few years earlier he finishes that fight with ease, but the fact that he couldn't shows that he should remain retired.
