sure man, I'm so scared of a guy who thinks that taylor is better than cotto, because he beat postol and prograis.

    Uhhhh, I'm so scared.

Cotto shits all over taylor everyday of the week, twice on sunday and thrice on fight night.

I repeat that the only place where taylor has seen a fighter similar to cotto is on TV. And if you think that fighting cotto is something remotely close to fighting bum bum postol, then you should be watching curling.

EDIT: and the reason why I dont want to argue is becaue you are a freaking fanboy, and arguing with fanboys is wasting my ****ing time. And my time is not infinite, dude. Have a nice evening.

Cotto never really beat elite guys at 140, he was better at 147. Even then he was mainly just giving elites problems but never was dominant over them. I’d pick Taylor at 140

Taylors size and speed would be a problem for sure, but Cotto had excellent timing and could rock that body. I think its safe to say that Taylor hasnt really fought a guy that can crack to the body the way Cotto could. I think it would only be a matter of time before Cotto found that sweet spot.

I'm not even a cotto's fan, you "hardcore" joke. You will have a really rough time when taylor goes up to welter and gets the ****ing rocked by every single top welter and his mom. Then, you all, nuthuggers, will disapear the same way you always do like you all did with postol, for example.

Taylor has proven NOTHING. This division is trash, and even taylor's mom knows what's going to happen the very moment taylor enters in the ring with a top guy in welter. This will be the first time in his life he will meet something similar to what prime cotto was, and taylor is not going to like it not even a little bit.

Crawford and Spence beat Cotto dude, so if Taylor goes up and loses to either them it's not a mark against his record. And you are a fanboy. Taylor hasn't reached his pump yet, getting worked out by pressure fighters like cotto. Blah!!!
You idiot yanks praise weight jumpers picking and choosing opponents in higher weight classes, rather than beating the best at your own, building a legacy at your own weight. Who right now rates higher at 140. Taylor or cotto?
You're a stupid yank ****, who thinks anyone in that area or has fought in a decent era a few years back means they are by default better than anyone, win or lose. Cotto in the end was not a dominant champ. I know the mentality you're coming from. 18 fights, Taylor is a P4Per boy. Learn the game!!!!

    Weight jumping lovers.
Give me a dominant guy at.one weight class everytime. Cotto grew got tougher and never dominated, well done to him. Top fighter who gave good fights to the best and beat a few notable opponents

Same fans as Mikey Garcia who went up to get ass raped by Spence and ruin his confidence as if he could have beat Taylor anyway. Never!

Be the man at your weight first. Or feck off!!!

I like both fighters but would have to edge with Taylor at the moment as Cotto was great but did get beat by the elite.
Josh hasn't shown those cracks yet so would have to look again when Josh moves up that will give a better indicator of a H2H.

    Ooh this one is good.

Taylor by KO at 140lbs. Elite boxing skills combined with power and chin ...I mean that's a daunting combination to face if you're anyone in any division, but especially for Cotto at light welter. At that weight he could have moments of greatness but he really could not cope if you could both dish it out and take it.

At welter is very interesting. We need to see Taylor dip his toes in the water before we can say for sure, but defeating Cotto at 147 takes a hell of a talent.

Yes i know, Judah and Corley were the only 2 southpaws that hurt Cotto, thats why i mentioned it. I think RJJ was thinking Judah but maybe forgot that fight didnt happen at 140. The other 2 southpaws that he ever fought that i can remember were Quintana and Martinez.
