What is it with American fighters when they lose to Europeans sometimes… they go full ***** mode… have zero class or humility… I love seeing them get their heads battered from pillar to post

 

Wow, that deliberate headbutt by Browne was so sneaky. It is only clear when you watch it on slow motion at 25% speed.

You can see him try it twice and then miss. Then he gets right up close, and moves his head to the left and butts Beterbiev right in the centre of the head.

A very deliberate headbutt and definitely part of his game given how a lot of his recent opponents end up with bad cuts from "accidental headbutts"

You could see the ring rust from Beterbiev in the early rounds, he needs to fight more regularly to be sharp at his age. But his thudding power and superb accuracy of punches broke Browne's heart.

The look on Browne's face changed in the 6th, you could see him in shock at the power and very scared.

 

I honestly think I could’ve done a better job.

at one point he removed the towel and quickly smooshed a load of Vaseline around clockwise and hoped for the best, Beterbiev gets up and it’s instantly pouring out

 

I'm glad I wasn't in the front row for this fight. I don't mind bathing in my own blood, but not someone else's claret.

 

he can't go full terminator especially versus a mover like browne. wasting energy. lots of people warm up.

Watch Loma vs Lopez. Lopez didnt look amazing in the first half of the fight it's just Loma wasn't letting go. Second half came and Loma took over. (IMO a round too late)

Once Beterbiev started going just like when Loma started going the fight changed course.

 

first of that wasn't an easy cut to contain. If Russ Anber was there he'd have done a better job but still it wouldnt have looked that good.

The Cut didnt effect beterbiev at all or didnt apear too.

 

im in round 4 have it 2-1 browne though he didnt dominate the first 2 rounds and did not really trouble beterbiev

im not really seeing a shot fighter here like all the other comments are saying. i see a guy taking his time and waiting for openings while apply lots of pressure.

he is fighting a fleet footed southpaw while being very inactive. the slow start makes sense, its not like he is getting tagged

i need to see a better replay of the head butt as brown threw two inside rights then their heads came near each other then the blood came out, the during the round replay during the break did not have it at a good angle

 

i will say this ref sucks, as soon as they tie up at all he yells break

yup replay shows after the right hand he ducks down to get under and collides with beterbievs head. was it on purpose? Maybe, he has beeen ducking low all night to get under the right hand

Didn't his team tell him to take it easy for a few rounds… Basically shake off some rust and then turn it up , which is exactly what happened… Literally walked through brown… What is so intriguing about juicenelo and Beterbiev is you have two of the best fighters at cutting off the ring in the sport.. don't forget Canelo will be slower at light heavyweight too.. don't hype him so much off of the Kovalev performance (that win is overrated) because that Kovalev was a shell and far more fragile than Beterbiev who has a really thick and dense bone structure.. Alvaroid won't put a dent in him! Make the fight ..
