Joseph Dennis Parker vs. Dereck Chisora II & Jack Cullen vs. Kevin Lele Sadjo RBR.

Those shots bounce off Parker all night long. Man can't be stopped.

 

I know mate, I was just generalising. He's shown improvement between the first Chisora fight and the 2nd tonight. So I think parkers not yet quite the finished article.

He's improved with Andy Lee and the Kronk style. I think it's fair to say he'll likely improve some more.

He definitely lacked the killer instinct tonight on several occasions. No question.

I'm sure his team will rip him one behind the scenes for that.

I'm sure Parker himself will re-watch the fight at some point and kick himself for not taking advantage quickly enough and with more finishing killer instinct.

I fully agree that killer instinct is not a learned behaviour as such but I think it can be learned to some degree or tweaked even if it's not natural to a fighter.

At the end of the day it's still just throwing punches.

Of course Filip has a cold assassins look. Everybody is a psychoanalyst with Parker, but maybe he is "too nice" for a fighter.

 

Convinced Chisora has a stake in 5 guys.

Not with that conditioning and certainly not with a lack of killer instinct which lost him the whyte fight in the first place and tonight again if this were a younger version of chisora with more stamina he would have been in trouble

 

Theres no way delboy isn't punchdrunk in his mid 40s. Needs to retire now.

 

In hindsight he should have retired after parker 1 that was his last hurah. Dont get me wrong chisora is tough as they come and has no quit in him, but the way he walked into the corner defenceless when he was hurt was kinda sad to me even though he threw back he was lucky parker has no killer in him and was dead tired himself.

 

Great grueling fight. I thought Parker would finish him a couple of times but Chisora hung tough, perhaps too tough for his own good long term.

The scorecsrds were way too close. Really dismal.

 

This was a great fight. Props to both men. Best HW fight of the year.

 

Nothing should surprise anyone at this point.

Fair points. I don't think Wlad Klitschko ever showed much of a killer's instinct - but he did OK, didn't he!

I would like to see Parker against Joe Joyce or Filip Hrgovic next.
