***Beterbiev vs Canelo would be a helluva fight ***

Yeah but what is it worth? Legacy wise? Everybody knows that the sanctioning bodies are a joke and nothing but revenue generating machines for their owners, completely devoid of integrity. 5 divisions of ****. He will never have the respect earned by his predecessors who fought the best they could honorably and occasionally lost to. Canelo is a fraud with potential ATG abilty. Much like Floyd but with even less credibility.

 

Canelo is a 3 division world champion. If we are going to go off belts, Broner is a 4 division world champion.

Kovalev was never the man at LHW. Beterbiev is the lineal and ring champion.

 

Boxing was different back then. There were no meldrick Taylors, roger mayweathers, jose luis ramirez, hector camachos ect like chavez had.. if canelo wants to move up to Cw which has always not been a glamourous division to begin with, then why not? Hes a guy who started his career at 15 at 140 pounds.

Hes a naturally smaller man then anyone he fights above 160, and prople are still calling for him to fight these bigger guys who are monsters at weight classes hes really got no buisness in. But hes Canelo a pitbull who will not back down from the challenge.. the russians are next, everybody just has to sit back and "weight". Lol

Its funny to me that his detractors are demanding him fight these bigger guys simply because they want to see him lose.

 

Why is skipping lhw? Why not be orderly and clean lhw and then take cw? Hard for me to not think that he's waiting for Beterviev (and maybe the other 2 Bs) to weaken or remove one another from contention. A Floyd move if there ever was one.

 

How many fights did he have at lhw? Why did Roy skip CW to fight Ruiz? Why Did Mosley skip 140 entirely to Pursue De La Hoya? Beterbiev turned pro at 28, hes been pro 8 years, him turning pro as late as he did is on his team and advisors no one else. Why does Canelo get so much hate? Its because people want to see him lose.

You want Canelo to fight Bivol, Beterbiev and Benevidez? Why not bivol vs beterbiev? They are in the same weight class and have been champions for 4 years.. why is no one demanding that? Why is canelo getting all these demands, i dont get it.

 

Kovalev was a belt holder at the division. So it counts as a 4th divisional title.

 

Broner won belts at 130, 135, 140 and 147.

What threat(s?) did Roy avoid at CW to fight Ruiz? Not saying it didn't happen, but I personally don't remember anybody at cruiser looking dangerous to Roy at the time and I was not and do not give Roy much credit for beating Ruiz. It was the same ****.

Why did Mosely want to fight DLH? For the money and because DLH was probably the biggest name in the sport at the time. What greater threats did he avoid to fight DLH? Seriously. Who knew at the time that Forrest was Mosely's kryptonite? I don't remember. Was Forrest even seriously on the radar at the time?

I want to see BBB and Canelo all mix it up. Any combination of those 4 would be awesome. Those fights do not preclude one another. I am all over the place saying this. Same as the 4 queens (or is it 5...or 6?). Same as i give stick to the top welters Crawford and Spence.

I don't "hate" (the most improperly and over used description of the current millennia so far. just cringe af in this context) any fighter. And I don't tune in to watch Canelo lose. What I want is to see all these massively talented boxers find their greatest challenges and thus enhance their own glory along with that of their foil and the sport in general. I want to watch great fights each and every time. I'm a boxing fan. Not a boxer fan.

 

Maybe Jirov? And for Mosley there were fights with Judah, Mitchell and of course Tyszu that he passed up. De la hoya ducked Wright.. ect.. and fair enough about bivol and beterbiev, we need to see that fight happen and soon

What makes you think Beterbiev is past his best? He looked phenomenal against Browne. I give Canelo almost no chance against him.
