At this moment, Beterbiev is the only active 100% KO beltholder (17-0, 17KO's @175). Let's put on a list of notable names that held at least one major belt, while having 100% KO ratio. I can come up with the likes of Edwin Valero, 27-0, 27KO's (130 WBA, 135 WBC), and Anthony Joshua, 20-0, 20KO's (200+ IBF/WBA), but there have to be a lot more around over the many decades, maybe even recent. Micheal Moorer's 22-0, 22KO's doesn't count, because at the time he held the WBO 175 strap back in 1990, it was obviously a minor belt.
I feel guilty and disgusting posting this but Saensak Muangsurin won the WBC super lightweight strap to become 3-0 with three KOs.
Wilfredo Gomez had a 100% KO to win percentage, but he drew his first fight. 32-0-1 with all wins coming by KO. Just misses.
There are so many names of big punchers that pop into my mind, but just miss out by having a single decision win or something simular. Seems like there have been less as I initially thought.
He already was the WBA/IBF holder at that time... so that's where the cutoff was (20-0). Parker was his 21st win.
Doesn't count in this case. He famously lost his first titlebid to The Marvelous One, so he never became an all KO beltholder or champ. To be clear, there have been others that won titles, but still don't count like; Deontay Wilder 33-0, 32KO's (WBC 200+) Went in 32-0, 32KO's, but won his title by UD against Stiverne. Don Steele 41-0, 41KO's. Got KO'd in 2 while fighting for a minor (IBO) title. Yuniel Dorticos 22-0, 21KO's (WBA 200) Had a wide decision against clearly past it Miranda. Herbie Hide 26-0, 25KO's (also, WBO 200+ was still minor in 1994) because just like many other monster punchers as Bert Cooper, Micheal Moorer, George Foreman, Gary Mason and Wlad Klitschko, couldn't crack Martin's chin.
yep. Carlos Zarate won wbc bantamweight title with 40wins 39kos. wilder almost had a perfect ko record to.
Fernando Vargas was 17-0 17 kos and with 3 title defenses before he went the distance for the first time against Winky Wright.
