Zurdo is a textbook fighter who doesn't excel at anything but is well rounded enough to beat the C an B level fighters.

I want to see him against an A level fight already so we can see him get KTFO. As a Canelo fan I hope its him, but I won't hold my breath as he doesn't offer much other tha an ok payday.

Agree, Zurdo doesn't bring very much to the table, he has no personality whatsoever, he's not particularly exciting, doesn't have a massive fan base, and his whole carefully managed career has been a lot of smoke and mirrors, including the hype machine he's had behind it. He certainly not good at cutting promos, he's not slick and he's not heavy-handed so no one would see him as a threat to Canelo. Also he has a weird voice and seems a little dimwitted, about the only thing he has going for him is his looks. So yeah, that fight would be even less marketable than the one with Plant for Canelo.

Yup, and with the way he sounds when he talks I'm actually very surprised he's ahead of Canelo when it comes to speaking English.

This isn't the first time Yunieski has made the crowd shed tears. He's a very emotional guy which is what makes him likeable.

Brutal fight. Amazing yunieski, that guy has fought basically the whole fight standing ko'd, in autopilot and still being dangerous. Massive balls.

I wish the fight would have been stopped earlier, anyway. That's too much punishment, yunieski is too brave for his own good.

Call me crazy, but I think Ramirez can give Bivol trouble with his height and reach.

I didn't used to feel this way, but now think Bivol is the one light heavyweight elite that GRS could maybe have a chance with. Logic being that GRS' biggest flaw is how easy he is to hit, meaning the guaranteed losses are versus the guys with massive KO power...which is basically every LHW elite save Bivol. Beterbiev, Canelo, and the Smiths (both British and American) would probably stop him.

Bivol's textbook boxing could be spoiled to a degree by GRS' serpentine movement and body punching, even though smart money would be on Bivol's clean skills carrying him to a decision.

Weird fight zurdo looked like he could end it early and dominate but kept getting tagged by bombs

Seemed like he made it harder than necessary

Tremendous fight. I thought Gonzalez would have nothing left after getting smoked by Gvozdyk and taking 3 years off. His effort was a pleasant surprise.

But Zurdo ain’t beating Bivol. And he’d get brutalized by Beterbiev that It’d hard to watch. Him and Oscar should go after Smith Jr.
