In A 2 Fight Series, What Happens Between Monzon Vs RJJ?

It's a very young inexperienced poster making an assessment, he was only in Roy Jones era. But Roy did not retire as champion in any weight class like Carlos Monzon did at middleweight, Roy lost to Antonio Tarver, an actor in one of the last Rocky installments, old age my big toe.

Jones .. he matches Monzon in size, strength and conditioning, he surpasses him in two handed power but the deciding factor is the incredible difference in speed. Jones would be one middleweight that would dominate Monzon ..

 

Don't worry, Michael, I think McVey is still around but just posting under another name. And I think there are some other good posters who seemed to disappear but have returned under different names. For example, I always liked Red Cobra. He was a big Monzon fan too.

 

The site is filled with alts of all sorts .. some terrific posters that had bad moments and rightfully got the boot .. some playful **** stirrers who wear out their welcome and a bored character who cuts and pastes threads on his Facebook page(s) so he can poke fun without rebuttal ... all in good fun. With all going on in the world today, small potatoes !

 

Jones. He's too good, too fast and hits hard. Monzon didn't fight good men his size as was not fast.

 

Good post. Pretty close to my own thoughts. I lean heavily towards Monzon.
