For the record, the pick wasn't late. I was watching a 'live' stream & posted the pick a few seconds before the first bell. Not as the first bell rang or a few seconds afterwards, but before the first bell sounded. How many seconds before? I genuinely estimate three or four seconds before the first bell. Not just one or two. Probably not five or more seconds although it's possible it could have been that many.

At the conclusion of the first round, I went straight to the RBR thread b/c I wanted to see if the guys who were watching had scored the round the same way I had - to the bloke I had switched to. @Inglis_1's round score was already up when I got there & was stated as having been posted 'a moment ago'. The essence of @sasto's complaint is that b/c @Inglis_1's score appeared (according to him) 2:59 after I posted my pick it is proof positive that my pick was made after the fight had already started & therefore shouldn't count.

While it does strike me as odd that my post wasn't at least three minutes before @Inglis_1's (if that was the case), there are several possible reasons why it may not have been. Firstly, my 'live' stream may have been a few seconds behind @Inglis_1's. While we're from the same part of the world, we are from different countries & it's possible that the streams we were watching were a few seconds apart. Secondly, it's also possible that @Inglis_1 posted his score for the round as it was coming to an end, rather than after the round finished.

 

Bro I'm joking with you on the cheating thing, I find that I'm sometimes even a full minute or more behind other posters and get spoiled by refreshing the RBR thread. This was also why I posted the page from DAZN where they talk about the fact that their broadcast has a variable delay based on location, ISP, and myriad other factors.

Not joking on the late pick though!

Making an executive decision here and counting the @Sandman_ pick. While I admire the persistency from @sasto , finding proof that the pick did come under 3 min from Inglis’ post, I also do agree with what Sandman’s saying. This is a tough situation but basing it entirely on Inglis’ post isn’t exactly concrete proof. I know @sasto won’t be a fan of this decision but for the top 5 spot, may the best man win. I’m just hoping we don’t get more situations like this in the future.
