This content is protected I think whyte vs wilder would look a lot like this, wilder getting wobbled but then just instantly detonating a bomb on whytes suspect chin. we can talk about whyte trying to put wilder on back foot but unlike the fury fight wilder has the height and reach advantage plus whytes footwork is sloppy his balance is sloppy and his chin is sloppy so yeah wilder ko’s whyte brutally and swiftly.
I also believe that Wilder wins over Whyte relatively quickly without any problems. Despite the beatings Wilder has received from Tyson Fury, he has plenty left to defeat Whyte.
@Aydamn could probably swing the vote in Whyte's favour, leaving Wilder in the dust, with all of his countless accounts.
If the ghost of Povetkin’s grandad could render Whyte unconscious, then Wilder even after the Fury beatings, leaves him in the hospital.
I would say that's the most likely result, yes. Still, it's possible that Fury ruined Wilder to the point where he'll be an empty shell in his next fight.
If Whyte tried to bring the fight to Wilder he would be iced in the first round. If he did his usual staying behind the jab and trying to walk Wilder on to one then he'd only get starched in the later rounds. Either way, Wilder KO.
It's very possible that Wilder's chin has gone. Fury had him going in the 3rd round of both fights and the trilogy fight was a far more savage beating than the 2nd. Wilder's chin had plenty of time to recover in between the fights too, so it had clearly deteriorated and will have declined further after the trilogy, I think significantly. So Whyte could possibly KO a 36.5 year old, back to back KO losses Wilder. Mentally Wilder may be weaker too but I don't think this is such an important factor. Even if Wilder's chin has gone though it's a question of who lands a bomb first and as the longer, faster and more powerful fighter, that's likely to be Wilder. Whyte's chin hasn't been tested since Povetkin 1 and he'll be 34 soon, Wilder would only have to touch him to send him to sleep. I suspect that both are aware of their vulnerabilities in the chin department, as well as the vulnerability of their opponent and would go for broke early.
That doesn't mean much. Wilder either wanted a very easy opponent like Breazeale or a top level opponent like Fury. And Whyte had several chances to fight final eliminators and decided not to. That doesn't mean that Whyte would be too tough for Wilder or that Ortiz would've been too tough for Whyte. How is a slow-footed plodder with minimal head movement like Whyte, with a dodgy chin these days, going to avoid being hit with a right hand from a man that has a big height and reach advantage over him?
Wilder wanted AJ as a guarantee when he beat Whyte. He even said that in this text that people misquote and take out of context all the time. Whyte he was always a well paid pawn in a game of chess. Both kings have since fallen.
