I trust that you can see that Vaulin and Jones fought differently?

See how RJJ essentially coopted Ruiz' potshot game and beat him out through superior speed? Ruiz was never going to win fighting liek that

It's a good match up that could go either way. Do people here really think Tommy is in a class higher than Ruiz?! Tommy was definitely a more exciting fighter than John, it's debatable if he was better.

    Yes.

So back to the original question. What makes you think Yuri hits harder? You mentioned him being an actual heavyweight. Is this your only reason, yes or no?

    So was Pavaroti.

Being over 200lbs, does not make you superior to anybody under 200lbs.

OK, you like boxrec. How many KO wins did Jones have at heavyweight? Vaulin had 8.

I'm not a medical professional, but I suggest Adderall. You seem to have a hard time with simple direct questions without going on a tangent every few minutes.

Morrison hits harder than Ruiz. it all depends on Morrison. Jones was a better fighter obviously, but Morrison has the size so if he comes out aggressive yet not reckless he could do ok. He has to fight a smart aggressive fight to stop Jones, which can be done. What do I see happening? hard to see it. Probably Jones winning a TKO late.

Morrison arguably only fought smart once in his whole career.

You could argue that Ruiz was a better overall fighter than Morrison. But from Roy’s perspective, there’s no question on who would have been the tougher opponent.

Morrison was faster than Ruiz, and he’d have been much more aggressive.

Ruiz landed 1 decent right hand, but was never able to land any other power shots. Yet I believe that Morrison would have had opportunities to have landed his power shots.

It would have been a very tough match up for Roy.

That reminds me of a fella I knew in Saint Louis one time. I shall shortly regale you with tales of same.

This is true. Roy would have to fight a near perfect fight, similar to how Tommy beat Foreman.

Why would Roy have to fight a perfect fight when Morrison routinely gassed after about six rounds?

I’ll go so far as to say Tarver at age 45 was a better heavyweight than anyone Vaulin beat and was better than Vaulin himself.
