Prove it, show any indicators that Walcott moved less in rematch. You won't do that, cause you either don't watch fights or you don't understand what you look at.
not like you who is blind This content is protected look at how much he is using the ring he even catches joe twice from sudden counters and drops him which shows joe wasnt that tough I was told tommy moved bad remember but he could use angles to and hit way harder then jers he would destroy joe looking at the 1st match the difference is he wouldnt have to move as much cause joe couldnt hurt him or would joe hit him look at how he is using angles and mutiple changes to punch while joe is just walking so slow looking out of his element looking basic and stiff This content is protected here jers is using the ring but staying closer most the match to go toe to toe not as good at timing and not using as much angles like he did the first time he looks a little better in movement compared to Joe instead of way better like the 1st match
What a detailed analysis: "Uses ring" "Uses angles" "Multiple changes to ounch" "Not as good at timing" I would say that you should change the sport, but the truth is that with your mindset you shouldn't touch any sport.
Morrison would be Louis most dangerous opponent and 3rd best behind Schmeling, Charles, and Marciano who beat him. Think about it before picking Louis via KO early.
Actually, I don’t think he has taken a position that is impossible to prove right or wrong, or at least no more impossible than many other subjects debated on the forum. I think his “position”, for which he has provided no detailed proof or even simple answers to specific questions, has actually been solidly proven to be far less likely than the opposing position. In fact, he has also contradicted himself on his so called “position” a number of times and when it has been pointed out to him - he either tries to pretend he meant something else OR ignores the damning evidence altogether. Not too bright.
Morrison never stopped anybody near the top of the division. I don't recall him putting a 10 count on anyone of note. He struggled to stop shopworn faded contenders like The Truth Williams, Pinky Thomas USA Network fights. One of those guys almost knocked him out when Morrison started his usual running out of gas in the midrounds. That's one thing that may be forgotten is Morrison didn't carry his power. 3 rounds and that's about it. He fell off a cliff conditioning wise poor stamina.
Taking the position Louis would not be able to deal with modern sized guys with good movement is impossible to prove since he never fought any. The opposite is also true. He cannot prove modern guys with good movement could outbox Louis. They never fought anyone with his style. Hence why I said it's a hamster wheel argument. Lots of conversation but going neither forwards nor backwards. He's been saying the same thing over and over for 50 pages but his position is actually very weak and had multiple flaws. The fact he won't elaborate what he means when he uses vague terms and statements is only part of the problem.
Pinklon Thomas was stopped in one round his eyebrow taken off. He was on his way out anyway. Morrison hit hard enough to blow guys out, Joe Hipp was a late round Ko and Williams a mid round so was Ruddock so I don't find your comments accurate. He either took his guy out early or as taken out. Late round stamina didn't come into play expect for the few fights he won on points.
Who were the opponents more dangerous for Louis? I listed three who beat him.( Schmeling , Charles, and Marciano ) if you think other opponents were more dangerous for Morrison please list them.
I have the strong suspicion that the ONLY reason this obviously conclusive poll has gone on this long is because of a couple of trolls. It never would have made it this far without them. The overwhelming majority of members here (and there are DOZENS of knowledgeable ones) voted for Louis. Everything else is a fart in the wind Morrison's biggest win was accomplished by running like hell against Foreman...it was by far his best performance, solely because he never really actually boxed that well before or since. And he did nothing with that win, in fact every time he stepped up to young, prime opposition he got stomped into the ground...not to forget his embarrassing pulverisations by a couple of E-listers. Louis was probably the greatest heavyweight who wasn't Ali. Morrison was an actor/fighter who will be probably most remembered for being just that...an actor in a bad Rocky film who also fought (unsuccessfully). Not entirely unlike a 90s Jerry Quarry (except nowhere near as good).
Quarry would have had an outside chance to finish what Lyle started against a *prime* Foreman. So not nearly as good, IMO.
All respect, but I think prime Quarry would have knocked old man George out. Lyle fought prime Foreman, Morrison most certainly did not.
