I don’t know but if we are going to fire up the time machine, there are so many better options. I’m seeing Jimi Hendrix first. We can work on boxing after I use the machine to win the lottery.

2013 Canelo would beat the crap out of Crawford.

Castillo would pressure and bully him. Crawford would have a chance though.

ODLH would jab his face badly. Even 30 year old near-prime Floyd couldn't avoid his jabs.

He would beat granddad Pacquiao. Most probably easier than Ugas.

So Crawford is favored vs that Pac? Lunacy.

Because Crawford’s fans think he’s on Floyd’s level

    He loses to Canelo.

Floyd beat Canelo (9-3 0r 10-2 on my scorecard, despite CJ's ridiculous 6-6 card) because the ginger man thought he could box with Floyd. Big mistake.

If Canelo had fought the way Maidana did later by roughing Floyd up and using his size a bit more, we would have a closer fight, and possibly a different result.

If we substitute Crawford for Floyd in the fight, first of all, Crawford is not quite as good as Floyd, and secondly, Crawford would not have the patience or skill s to avoid brawling with Canelo.

And for these two reasons, we would probably get a Canelo win... wide UD or a stoppage.

He also loses to Oscar at 154.

Floyd barely edged that fight and that was prime Floyd (admittedly not his best weight class) and as I've said already, Crawford is not as skilled as Floyd.

Terence might manage to go the distance in this on e but he still loses.

In addition, he loses to Castillo, who in the opinion of most, beat Floyd in their first go round

Finally, he loses to the version of Pac who Floyd eventually agreed to fight.

Floyd's performance in that fight was mostly run and pot-shot against a damaged Pac.

The Pac of that night (who was to beat a Crawford-level Thurman some years later) still had enough to deal with anything Crawford brought. With Crawford substituted for Floyd there, a brawl eventually breaks out and Pac was faster and hit harder.

( Prime Pac ends Bud in the first half of the bout. )

In summary, Crawford is the second best-best or maybe even the best current welter. But he's no Floyd.

Reach is but one attribute. And far from being the most important one.

    It didn't save Margarito.

Deluded if you think current Bud is on 2015 Floyd level.
