Beterbiev vs Michael Spinks

Yea a past it Spinks coming into the fight injured and above his weight class. Beterbiev also gets stopped in the first by a prime Tyson

 

He'd hit him far more than Callum Johnson and Gvozdyk did, and he'd only need one clean one.

 

He reacted pretty well when he fought Cooney.

 

I pick Tyson to KO Beterbiev, but I do not believe it happens in 90 seconds. No way.

Watching Michael Spinks highlights now

Surprised how easily he could be pushed around and pushed back to the ropes by lesser fighters like Marvin Johnson.

He can fight his way out of sticky situations well though.

The other thing that concerns me is the old ticker. Spinks was terrified of Mike Tyson and showed zero heart. Not even an attempt to come back. Zero. That speaks volumes about someone's temprement and character.

I pick Spinks to beat Beterbiev on points but he'll have some scary moments.

 

Lmao it had nothing to do with Mike Tysons physical strength. It was his ridiculous heavyweight power and speed. Nobody Beterbiev has faced even comes close to a percentage of what Mike Tyson was. There is nothing that suggest Beterbiev would even beat the guy Spinks stopped for his IBF title . Because Beterbiev has never fought a heavyweight in the pros. He doesn't even want to move up to cruiserweight LOL

Beterbiev would probably get destroyed by the guys Spinks fought at heavyweight, because Beterbiev has never fought at heavyweight in the pros, because he knows he would have zero advantages at heavyweight. If he could handle Cooney, he could handle Beterbiev

 

Saying Gvozdyk would beat Spinks or Beterbiev would KO Qawi in two and that Beterbiev would beat Cooney is blind fanboyism.

I doubt he's even as strong as Antonio Tarver or Darius Michalsweski. Don't start backtracking. What happened to Beterbiev KOing Qawi in two rounds?

There is so much **** in your post I don’t know where to start. No backtracking, AB is slowing down. Anyone with eyes and a brain can see it. I’ll still take him over Canelo but it’s going to be closer than it would have been before his decline. I said Bivol would beat him, not backtracking or changing any opinions, just my thoughts. Cooney was a big sloppy bum who never beat anyone. He lost to some big names so I guess that gives him street cred with morons.

Beterbiev prime beats Qawi prime in a great fight. Tarver isn’t even in the conversation. Also, AB loses to Tyson but he doesn’t **** his pants like Spinks did. That was something I’ve never seen before. He was so deer in the headlights he didn’t even put up a fight. A 31 year old guy yet it’s unreasonable to say Beterbiev is showing signs of age a few weeks away from 37?

spinks didn’t look too injured in his two previous fights. Every fighter has injuries and his knees looked like they were weak with fear more than anything else. If Canelo fights AB, I’m still going with Beterbiev. If Beterbiev continues to decline and looks worse in his next fight (assuming it’s not Canelo) I’ll adjust my prediction. I’m not a fanboy of either abd like anything else I call them like I see them.

The rest of your post is drivel I've already responded to. Other than that, the only thing I'd add is Tarver-Beterbiev is a good fight. That's his level. Spinks annihilates him.

 

I agree! He would get sparked out but I like to think AB would go down on his shield. Also, if you are on the TV show Cops and know you are getting arrested, dont punk out and beg for them to let you go, don’t act crazy, just look into the camera with no fear in your eyes give a little smile and a wink. You will be out of jail eventually and that ten seconds video clip will survive for eternity. That’s what I’m going to do if it happens.

Same is true if you ever find yourself fighting Tyson. Try to act like your are not scared, take your beating and hope you don’t die. The end result will be the same. It’s the difference between looking cool and looking like a punk.

 

Hagler Hearns was a great fight. How many rounds did it last, genius? You have Beterbiev losing to everyone who ever fight at the weight. I was almost forgetting his 17-0 record with 17 KO’s.

Who knows who would have won? They will never fight unless someone invents a time machine. We can argue about who is better but there is no getting around the FACT that Spinks **** his pants in his last fight and didn’t even put up the semblance of a fight. He was a deer in the headlights scared like I’ve never seen before. If Beterbiev ever does that, please feel free to call me out.
