If they stay honest to the game and fight the best competition eventually they would lose. But these days many fighters such as Tank are very protected and will never fight the best or have a resume that implies greatness.
Crawford and Usyk Crawford because he's a cherrypicker and Usyk because Usyk is simply up there with Floyd Mayweather in ring iq and Ability. He's the greatest heavyweight in this era to lace them. He'd certainly give Prime Lennox Lewis a very competitive fight. If he beats Fury it would be a sigh of relief and a breath of fresh air for the boxing world After Usyk takes out the trash next spring a bout between him and Fury will be a classic for the years to come
How is Crawford a cherrypicker? I'm definitely not a fan of the guy, but I definitely don't see him as a cherrypicker.
Didn't step up at welterweight until this year as a 35 year old and bullied his way up the weight classes. But maybe you're right. Cherrypicker is too harsh.
I went with Fury. Not because he is the best fighter although he is pretty darn good. I chose the Gypsy King because he is the kind of guy I can see walking away from boxing just because he feels like it. The others, except perhaps Spence, are boxers through and through and they will fight as long as they think they are the best ... until they aren't. That was not a knock on Spence, he is a great fighter but he just doesn't seem to like boxing that much.
Fury, he likely only has a few big fights left (which I'd favor him in), and I also feel he'd walk away at the right time and just talk **** on everyone forever. Also picked Crawford and Inoue, slightly less confident about them, but I don't see many active guys around their weight threatening them.
I think the most likely are Inoue, for just being a level above anyone else upto super bantam, and Fury. The latter simply for not fighting on for much longer, and not fighting anyone decent beyond one or maybe two big fights. Never been a man for the long haul, like Holmes, Louis, Klitschko etc.
