Fury says contradictory things on a regular basis, you're not a genius for noticing inconsistencies. He obviously cares about money but probably doesn't care about fighting Povetkin's grandson Whyte. If Whyte won't fight for substantially less than the 45% he's demanding, he won't get the fight.

Apparently Whyte's own promoter "lowballed" him with an offer of several million to fight AJ as the replacement for Miller. In fairness though, Hearn was notorious for offering 70-30 splits with one-way rematch clauses at home to fellow world champions, let alone beltless contenders. But if Hearn was so desperate to be "fair" to Whyte and give him the shot he apparently deserves, he wouldn't have made him a "severe lowball" offer (according to Whyte).

Fury will fight Kabeyal or Haye next, Haye being the plan, and Kabeyal ready to go as a back-up who won't draw much but will cost them less than a million to book.

After Hunters last performance Whyte would get no credit.

Skelton lost 5 fights fighting for regional belts. That's Whytes level according to you?

    You're an idiot.

What the hell are you talking about man? Fury and literally every member of his family talk about it regularly and have done for years.

He literally wrote a book talking about his struggles you idiot.

I'd rather see him fight Whyte than Ruiz or Kabayel. Unless Fury is going to fight another top opponent besides Whyte such as Joyce then it's pointless to avoid Whyte and go on to fight another cherrypick like Tom Schwarz, which is what he's known to do

Anyone else think Tyson should stay clear of Joe Joyce?

LOL Joyce would be an easy nights work for Fury. Fury at 400 pounds was slipping and sliding Joyce's shots in sparring. Joyce's attributes will be a 0 on the threat scale for Fury because Fury doesn't have a shitty gas tank like Aj and can be on the back foot all night.

I really want Joyce and Fury to fight just to see how easy Fury would jab his face off. The result would be a version of Fury on this forum thats even more overrated than he already is and the Joyce hype train getting violently derailed

How many fights did Skelton win fighting for regional (British/European) belts?

Whyte has never even fought for European title.
Whyte lost vacant British title fight against AJ, and won vacant British title against Ian Lewinson.
    That's it.

    Skelton was old man.

    Whyte is same level.

I think the situation can be summed up like this:

    DILLIAN WHYTE
    1 Isn't worth 45%
2 Has turned down SEVERAL MILLIONS + WORLD TITLE shot before, due to his overvaluing himself

    TYSON FURY
1 Is worth more than 55%
2 Has dumped WORLD TITLE BELTS before

Nah. Wallin gave him a hard night. Joyce would clearly give him a very hard night. Usyk ..well that's a toss up but leaning Usyk.

Hearn was laughing when Groves only got a small split of the Froch rematch and biggest fight in the UK despite being very popular.
So Hearn is quite happy to abide by challenger splits, right? Therefore just follow the rules and Whyte ''gets his shot''.
Watch all the muppets complain when Whyte ''misses out'' again because he won't follow normal procedures.

Whyte pricing himself out to me speaks to his motivations and reason Wallin was ducked - had Fury dollars signs in his eyes.
