Yeah. He'll destroy Kell Brook for a few rounds. Until Khan gets clipped and knocked out. Because that's every Amir Khan fight in a nutshell.
I agree. Kell Brook's biggest battle is to make weight and his eye is such an easy target. Amir Khan will win this easily and people will wonder what the talk of 50/50 was all about. Khan wins via TKO rounds 4-7 By the way. I have always said prior to the last 1-2 years that Brook would brutally knock Khan out. But I can see Brook is washed up at this point and only in there for the payday. Brook's eye is a lay up.
Boxing is all about timing. Crawford Spence being a good example. Spence's window is closing rapidly, hell he should retire on paper with his eye injury. ignoring making weight issue.
I will be surprised if Kell doesn't shell up when hit like he did with Crawford - I think he is psychologically damaged after those orbital injuries. Maybe the fact it's Khan will give him the fortitude to stave them off, but Khan WILL tag him, so he's going to have to deal with that to be able to get to Khan's chin.
Really want Brook to win but my hunch is he is more shot than Khan so its looking like a win for Amir
As long as Brook's eye doesn't force a retirement again I still think he can time Khan coming in and stop Khan. Khan will win the early rounds with his speed as per usual but eventually Brook will get his timing down and start countering Khan as he throws. Khan simply makes too many mistakes and against a decent counter puncher like Brook he could come unstuck again like he has so many times before.
Let Khan showboat around for 3 or 4 rounds, then his complete lack of IQ comes in to play and he is getting sparked out
This was what I felt when the fight was made at 149lbs. I would still favour Brook at 154 or above but that weight cut plus his head being caved in by GGG leaves him in a weakened position. Everything is in Khan's favour but would prefer Brook to win just for the lol and the fact Khan avoided Brook for so long.
