Joyce would be ok, I think, but less proven than Whyte. Yes, Whyte lost to Povetkin, but Joyce has yet to fight anyone as good as even that Povetkin. And that loss doesn't make Whyta a bum imo even though to write someone off if he loses is apparently the thing to do. And otherwise complain that they take no risks...
Or. We can just have Fury grow a pair and actually face a mandatory like all the champions before him. That way we can have a mandatory without a bunch of ducking and narratives.
That version of Povetkin was shot to bits and isn't anywhere near as good as Dubois. Paint dry Parker is Whyte's best win and it was highly controversial due to the concussive headbutt KD. Parker himself severely lacks power, killer instinct and will to win and is therefore far less dangerous than 6'5 KO artist Dubois, yet he dropped and almost finished Whyte in the 12th.
Mostly gibberish this. Who the f did Dubois ever beat? Just getting your excuses ready. Don't think they'll be needed, though. I think Fury will face Whyte.
If Fury doesn't face his mandatory, it's an official duck. Don't give a .... how his blindboyded fanboys wanna describe that. Fury also doesn't want to have anything with Usyk. He is using his name, cause he know Usyk is tied with a rematch with AJ. That pathetic fat idiot is a big KO waiting to happen. And then there will be a huge laugh at people on here who are claiming he got some chin(a level above a pure china one), and his legendary "recovery".
Fights aren't determined by what a 41 year old coming off 4 back to back wars and an extensive combat sports career prior to pro boxing did 5-10 years ago. Povetkin was shot to bits and Dubois (who was highly rated by the likes of Fury and AJ who had sparred him, favoured to KO Joyce) would have wiped him out early. Some morons were saying that Chisora would have beaten Dubois after the Joyce fight, on the basis that washed up del boy lost SD's to Whyte and Parker. All this proves is that Whyte and Parker are hypejobs designed to prop up AJ's failing resume. Dubois's losing performance against robbed SHW gold medalist Joyce was more impressive than any in Whyte's career and there is zero chance he would have been able to take the bombs that Joyce did. I've never cared for the Fury-Whyte fight and Fury would get no credit for beating him seeing as his stock in trade is going life and death with Parker/Chisora and getting chinned by prospects and shot old men.
Last time, I'll tell you: Stop this nonsense. Povetkin was coming off a win over Hughie Fury and a draw against Hunter and he'd came back from two KDs in the previous round to ice Whyte with one punch. Past his best, yes, but in no reality is that "shot to bits". The Covid ridden Povetkin of the rematch was shot to bits, but the difference between the two versions of him was huge. It's pathetic with this nonsense just to ready excuses in case your idol decides to duck Whyte. Grow up. And that's all the time I'll waste on you.
Povetkin was coming off getting dropped by Pricey, getting dropped multiple times and stopped by AJ, 12 round wars with Hughie and Hunter and was a year removed from his controversial draw with Hunter at 41. He was shot in the first fight and a beyond shot medically unfit mess in the rematch. But shot, badly hurt Povetkin still had the skill to spark a prime Whyte with one punch, says it all. I hope Fury does "duck" Whyte, he's a waste of time.
I really doubt Fury is scared of Usyk pal, he clearly fancies his chances against him and Fury would go into that match as favourite.
I have heard the patched things up. Wait and see. If the next fight is not a Haye or a Klitschko, then I am wrong.
Eh, but of course for you, who is his White Knight .... Let's see if he will even have a belt when that time comes.
I would like to see this fight but I don’t think it would ever realistically happen, Fury and Ruiz really like each other, they’re both Christians and have often talked about their faith that they have in common. Similar story with Fury and Parker being friends as well.
