Can Makhmudov prove himself as a legitimate contender and beat Whyte?

Whyte has more experience against top fighters. Makhmudov hasn't fought anyone in the top 10.

Whytes chin is so glass you can't trust it against a guy who hits like Makhmudov

For all we know, Makhmudov might have a glass jaw.

Even though Makhmudov demolishes him (and most of the Top 10) Dillian Whyte deserves his shot at a title. It's way overdue now.

Let’s see him progress first, but it looks like he carries power no doubt.

I'm not sold on Makhmudov yeah he looks good crushing journeymen and shot former fringe contenders but doing the same against a proven operator like Whyte is another matter.

But having said that, Whyte is vulnerable we know he's not got a great chin and he does make defensive errors which leaves him open. If Makhmudov can land one of his big right hands I could see him putting Dillian to sleep. But Whyte's too proven and beaten too many decent opponents to pick against him against such an unproven prospect.

AM is one scary looking dude who clearly carries some power but he's pretty stiff and open to counters, and he's never fought someone Whytes level in the pros. Why would Whyte take this fight though? AM needs to get some decent wins first, maybe someone like Kownacki or another stalled prospect like Ajagba?

It is funny how people here are suppose to be legit boxing fans but can't seem to understand how boxing works. Makhmudov has a high knockout percentage but who did he actually knock out who is worth mentioning? Have you people ever of a heavyweight named David Rodriguez? Look at his knock out percentage. Look at how he started his career. I think he knocked out his first 20 or so opponents and usually in the first round. Arslanbek of course fought a little better opponents than David did but my point stands. Mihai Nistor gave Arslanbek all he could handle for crying out loud

All we know at the moment is Arslanbek is good at knocking out people there to be knocked out. Let's see him face a live dog who is in their primes before you start acting like this guy is some type of living legend.

Thing about Whyte is he is so chinny that you cannot make him a confident favorite over a monster puncher like Makmudov. Sure Makmudov is unproven but he looks to have ridiculous power. He also has a naturally huge neck and a blocky head so i bet his chin is good despite the fact that he has been stopped in the amateurs.

Makmudov could take those shots and spark him out.
