Loved Ron Lyle and this does him justice

 

This is the best you tube boxing channel I have seen. He makes all classic boxing documentaries and they are awesome. Check it out

What really strikes me is how articulate and intelligent Ronnie was.

In the interview with Ali and Cosell in between, Ron really put Howard in his place. Down goes Cosell, down goes Cosell…..

 

Just watched his documentary on Carlos Palomino. Another good one

Yeah I saw that as well. Even Ali seeing how respectful and calm Lyle was refrained from his usual over the top chest beating while verbally attacking and putting down his opponent act. You could see the respect he had for Lyle.

 

I watched it as well.

He’s very good at focusing on the stuff that a boxing fan wants to know and see.

If you knew nothing of Palomino in the first place you would come away that much better informed just for having watched the doc.

 

Great observation. Rare to see Ali look so calm and at peace while his opponent spoke. He was actually listening to Lyle. LOL.
