Its only an upset if you DKSAB.

Ruiz beating the **** out of AJ is an UPSET.

Decent video. But keys to winning for AJ in rematch....

Lopez vs Lomacenko blueprint? really? Only if Usyk boxes with one arm for the first 6rds. Yeah blueprint is there...

The breakdown is simple, AJ ain't got the guys for this game no more. There's no real fighter in him now, he's tasted his own mortality made loads of money and doesn't like fighting anymore.

Usyk hit him with one little clean left in the first and Joshua **** himself and fought scared for the rest of the fight, absoloutley woeful.

Someone needs to tell him you can't win fights above bum level like poolev without expecting to take a couple of hits, there's going to be exchanges, you are going to get cuffed round the head, it's a fight.

Joshua is done, you can't be a world title boxer if you don't want to fight, he made Usyk look spectacular in there where I think the Chisora fight was more Usyk's real level as a heavyweight, there will be FAR more difficult fights ahead than celebrity boxer AJ, vs people who actually want to have a scrap.

There are no keys for victory apart from get your balls surgically reattached and go out there and beat this guy up but sadly, them balls are never getting reattached.

It's an upset by definition because he wasn't the favorite.

Did Loma reattach his arm in the 2nd half? Or did he have it to begin with?

Joshua shouldn't have been favorite. The bookies got this wrong - or the gambling public did, a big enough swath of them dumping big optimistic money on Joshua (based no doubt on blind faith in the media-hyped incumbent, and complete ignorance of Usyk's past amateur or WSB history of easily taking super heavies to school) to sway the fickle minded rest of the rank and file and create the overall (analytically baseless and uneducated) impression of him being heavily favored - in the sense of expected - to win the match. Among people that KSAB and more specifically KSA both Usyk and Joshua, this was always going to be a matchup that favored Usyk. AJ if anything outperformed my expectations.

So technically yes an upset based on what the actual odds were - but the point being raised is that it was always weird for the odds to be that. Many of us knew exactly how it was going to play out, contrary to what the bookmakers or bettors thought. We didn't "think"; we knew. This was a pretty obvious match-up to predict.

The way AJ always gets outhustled in clinches/up close is hilarious even against little Uysyk.

The only time he fought or outwrestled was against old man Wlad, a man who will grab you to death, AJ doesn't like to grab though and could bully Wlad off who never throws punches in them scenarios.

Fury could stick AJ, Wlad & Wilder in a treble headlock and bully them around the ring in one sitting. Bunch of dossers.

Too many fans bought into the Matchroom media hype surrounding Joshua. In a nutshell Joshua did everything wrong,Usyk then just capitalised on the rest of Joshua’s known flaws. Hopefully we get to see the Usyk v Fury fight and then we will see how good Usyk is fighting against a Heavyweight who knows how to use every bit of his size/strength/savvy against a smaller fighter. May the best man win without controversy.

Gonna pile on with the “this wasn’t an upset”…

Joshua was ranked too highly even before Usyk was on the scene. I’ve favored both Fury and Wilder over him since they were first recognized as the top 3 of the division before Usyk started his run at heavyweight.

AJ obviously doesn’t suck, and I’d still favor him over any heavyweight besides the top 3 unless his self belief is destroyed….

….but he ain’t ever been what his team has made him out to be… and the immediate rematch is just bad news for him..IMO he doesn’t currently have what it takes to do the only thing that would give him a chance to beat Usyk - which would be to (try) make it an ugly dog fight….. because he ain’t out boxing/thinking Usyk….
