You'd imagine Michael conlan would have too much for wood, giving how high of a level he competed at in the amateur game. But no denying he hasn't been pulling down trees in the pro game so far. I'd even go as far to say that he's been rubbish but I suppose he is being judged from a higher ceiling than most. It's an interesting fight, one I'll watch on my dodgy box, but there's not a chance in hell, I'd pay to watch either men fight.
It's a good match. Conlan should win on points but Wood is always dangerous with his power. Conlan hasn't looked as good as a pro as his exceptional amateur career, but I expect him to raise the level against better opponents.
Wood can do this. Home crowd and a career best performance previously should see Wood through. If he can box to orders he has a fantastic chance. Good match up.
Would be a good fight. I favour slightly towards Conlan, though that would probably keep changing back and forth lol.
Wood is a very capable Fighter and will pose problems for Conlan, especially in the first half of the contest. Conlan, though, is stronger at the weight and doesn't mind taking one to land one. My pick is Conlan over an exhausted Wood in the 10th.
Surprised by the support for Conlan in this fight, I've not seen his last 2 fights but before then he hasn't looked near a world beater imo. I'll have to watch back his last few fights see if he's improved but if he hasn't, then I see Wood taking this and causing another shock for some people.
