Why is everyone so impressed with beterbiev, he's just a weight bully

    talking about beating shavers?? spinks? cooney? nonsense. the guy won't even beat joe smith jr., let alone canelo and god forbid spinks.

    his entire rep is based on beating unproven nobody's like callum johnson, oleksandr gvozdyk, and hot rod. If he had to face people his own size he'd get ktfod. last time somebody had the balls to hit him back hard they almost knocked him out. Makabu for instance smashes him to pieces.

    How is Gvozdyk unproven or a nobody? He was reigning champion and beat Adonis Stevenson. Also, he's only 5'11, not at all huge for the division. I doubt he comes in weighing more than a couple pounds at most more than his opponents,

    Gvozdyk gave Adonis Stevenson a brain injury that threatened his life and retired him. Stevenson was rated highly before that fight.

    And Callum Johnson hits like a freight train.

    Beterbiev has beaten some dangerous tough cookies.

    Beterbiev isn't that big height wise but compared to the rest of the division he clearly has some bulk on him. He's not a ridiculously huge LHW like Michael Moorer or Tarver was but he's big. He even missed weight the other day and people just threw that under the rug

    The LDBC were all over Beterbiev missing weight by 2 ounces for the first time in his career at almost 37 y/o

    Apparently it's the same as Twink missing weight a whole bunch of times, like at least 4 IIRC

    The same as Twink missing it by 2 whole pounds and losing his IBF 130 title on the scales

    Nearly losing his second world title at 130 he'd been gifted in his very next fight after being matched up with a career 126 pounder coming off a loss who'd fought their last 10 fights down at 126

    He made weight the third time of asking though after stripping naked

    He's had to do that 2 or it might even be 3 times

    Strip butt naked that is

    Hell he even missed weight by a whole pound for his official 135 debut when he was gifted another world title against a **** to bits 38 y/o Gamboa

    Kovalev 189 against Pascal
    Gilberto Ramirez 195lbs against Karpency
    Eledier Alvarez 187 for Kovalev albeit his trainer said he was 192 IIRC
    Chad Dawson 191 - HW Glen Johnson 189

    browne was a lot bigger than him and you saw what happened. I would not count smith jr out against him though, would love to see that
