Don’t agree here. Byrd was similar to Young and Toney had a lot of trouble with lateral movers, but Foreman could barely complete 12 rounds so an in shape Toney would have an off-chance of outlasting him.

Disagree with Foreman stopping Holyfield. There's a lot of myths surround Prime George Foreman that seemingly makes him invincible to anyone that is not Jimmy Young. He loses to most boxer punchers.

I cannot see Marciano truly troubling a fit and fleet of foot Ali, i think Marcianos facial damage would be extensive, and i see Foreman steam rollering Marciano, unless Rocky got into the championship rounds then one must think that is Rockys domain

Yes, Evander was well rounded, solid chin, had an excellent jab and busy hands in general. Definitely a likely handful for Ali, another bogey man so to speak, but a guy who I don’t think would survive the crucial extra notches in power that prime GF brought to the table.

Mike was rocked early by both Tucker and Bruno. Foreman’s punch would hurt him a lot more and George had all the right tools to follow up his advantage far more effectively.

Foreman was dropped by both Young and Lyle. Tyson's punch would hurt him a lot more and Tyson had all the right tools to follow up his advantage far more effectively.

Hmm, very original but anyway. Not the best George but Tyson wasn’t as dimensionally large as Ronnie and didn’t hit harder than Lyle at any rate and Foreman more or less fell from exhaustion in the final rd v Young - a rd that Mike ain’t seeing by a long shot anyway as George will have put him out about 8-10 rds earlier. Next….

There are so many people who would lose to Foreman but beat Ali. Doug Jones would be smashed by Foreman but most people think beat Ali. George Chuvalo gave Ali a tough second fight and Chuvalo lost easily to Foreman. Henry Cooper almost knocked Ali out. I couldn't imagine Cooper ever beating Foreman. Ali struggled with Oscar Bonavena who I couldn't imagine beating Foreman. Ali would probably struggle with guys like John Dino Dennis, Michael Moorer, Axel Schulz. Ali did struggle against Ron Lyle. I know what you will say but Ali was 33, Well I believe Ron Lyle was 34. The last time I checked 34 was older than 33. Ali was struggle if not lose to a motivated prime Tony Tucker. I don't think Tucker could beat a prime Foreman. Ali was struggle if not flat out lose to Mike Tyson. I don't think Tyson could beat Foreman.

I don't think Mike would make it that long. He'd be staggering all over the ring in nine at the latest imo.

For the love of potato salad Tyson couldn't go 12 with Buster Douglas and you think he'd blow out the greatest heavyweight of all time who also possessed the one of the best chins ever. Now ,,name one fighter one, Tyson beat near the level of Muhammed Ali. A 38 year old ring rusted Holmes?

First of all, Tyson was completely unprepared for that fight, neither physically, nor mentally.
He spent his days prior to it by having sex with Japanese hookers, doing coke and alcohol.
Second of all, when he actually trained, Douglas was a great HW, with great fundamentals and technique, and plenty of punching power.
Douglas was in the shape of his life for that fight.

Ali is the greatest/second greatest HW due to his achievements, it doesn't mean he's the best H2H. I have at least 4 or 5 other HWs ahead of him in that department.

Since you mentioned him, Holmes is a good example. Not due to Tyson beating him, but due to he stylistic matchup, since Holmes is a similar boxer to Ali. Tyson is Ali's worst nightmare from a styles point of view.

Good joke. But Mike beats your boy Muhammad every single time.
