I knew it was out there but I waited years for someone to upload this to You Tube. Really worth the watch imo. PS - you’ll love the old ads. LOL.

Yeah, Mitchum has one of the most fascinating and swashbuckling childhoods of all time!

The late Sen. John McCain, who ran for president and won the republican nomination, boxed in the Navy.

Dean Martin was a welterweight who had 12 fights (not sure if pro or am. Probably am).

Kelly Jones from Stereophonics was decent at junior level by all accounts. Bet the ladies hated him.

I saw Mitchum in a TV interview with Dick Cavett. He said he got in the ring with I believe Charley Burley. After trying a few punches, Burley put him on his ass and said something to the effect "this ain't acting, it's boxing" or something like that.

Not as far as I know. I was just kidding around given Ozzy’s often confused state - which is an act in part but not completely. Shaaaron!! LOL.

Dale Robertson, actor, boxed. Injuries sustained in WW2 ended his boxing and led him to acting.
Eric Braeden, Victor Newman on The Young &The Restless, boxed. I think he had some pro fights.

Yeah, criminally underrated. Those five Schenker albums is one of the best album streaks in history. But the 80s was great too.

Miles Davis liked to hit the boxing gyms in the cities where he was playing for ring workouts.
Same thing for actor Robert Conrad.
