With no boxing in UK in January, looks like an appropriate time to drop the subscription for the time being.
Return in March when GGG and Gonzalez/Estrada return.

Very impressed by the loyalty of DAZN UK Subscribers - surely DAZN UK suspend subscription payments automatically for months when there is nothing on.

If not then this is taking the urine direct from bladders.

As far as I know there is no suspension, obviously there should be!
As for “loyalty,” I pay for boxing and only boxing, not darts!

Yes, I know there is a suspension of British boxing, it’s a suspension of the subscription, that’s in question.

That's another reason why I love Sky. During the last Covid 19 period with high infection rates, payment to Sky was paused while all channels on my Sky card were open.

It's a good job they've got a big CANCEL option available in the app, isn't it? And that there's no minimum contract length, etc.

I sympathise here though. If the schedule is literally empty, this should be considered.

I expect they'll have at least one card on in Jan, even if it's from somewhere like Uzbekistan.

Sky Sports and BT Sports done the right thing not charging for these channels when there was no sport on.

Same model used in other places like gyms and Cineworld.
How Eddie Hearn & co, aren’t up to speed on this, is baffling.
Even obtaining delayed rights to shows should be looked at. There’s an alphabet fight in Japan in a day or two, even the Charlie Martin fight.
Use a bit of imagination Ed!

Yes may have been tempted to dip back in again should there have been a decent monthly schedule on at some stage but the PPV introduction has killed that idea out of my head. That is unless existing subscribers get the PPVs as part of the monthly sub.

They don't need to suspend when the consumer can quite easily cancel whenever they want.

I should add that delayed showings would be a better option than the lottery of YouTube. At least a delayed wouldn’t emblazon the result with listing.

Signed up for December for Parker Chisora as I was watching it with a mate but promptly cancelled straight after. I’ll just treat DAZN as an occasional £8 PPV going forward although I think that would be once or twice a year max.

When it was £1.99 I just let it roll over but grudge them increasing the price by 300% when the shows aren’t any better than what was on Sky.
