I can't blame Hammer on his game plan with just a 4 days notice.

Fight Usyk, lol. He can't even get rid of the New year's hologram of hammer.

    Round 5

Sánchez Faure is doing a mixture of shuffling forward, throwing jabs and body shots ...and shuffling backwards, throwing jabs and body shots. Ciocan is waltzing whichever direction dictated by Sánchez Faure's behavior, basically just letting the Cuban lead, and getting massively outlanded either way, despite Sánchez Faure not even posting that high a work rate. A few clinches here and there. Horrible round.

    10-9 Sánchez Faure

    50-45 Sánchez Faure

Sanchez is less impressive tonight than he was against Ajagba, he's fighting timidly against a faded, soft opponent.

Absolutely, this is nowhere near the level of fighter Hammer was vs Fury or Price. I mean don't forget that Price took the Hammer fight on short notice also. Hammer on a full camp could have caused real problems for Sanchez but a crafty/sleazy promoter has baited him into a 4 day fight. Casuals will just take the name on the record if/when Sanchez wins.

reinoso told him to fight calmly, and to preserve the gas tank.

He's just winning the rounds by jabbing and throwing one or two right hands here and there. As instructed, not his fault. Actually it is very good that he can follow the instructions and follow a plan and a strategy.

Not a very exciting strategy, tbh, but not his fault, again.

I honestly don't think you could have picked a more painful matchup in the division than these 2.

Faded, soft, unmotivated and unprepared opponent. This is an absolute shadow of the Hammer who was around mid 2010's.

Styles make fights. Sanchez is an explosive counter puncher. But you can't throw counter punches if the other guys doesn't throw hands as well.. Plus Hammer is one of those guys who make other fighters look bad.

Is calling him "Faust" because Vykhryst is really too difficult to expect American commentators to pronounce?

    Here, guys, read this sentence:

"Michael Vick broke his wrist in the first day of NFL training camp yesterday..."

There, you have all the necessary tools, you basically did it already. Yay!
