Lennox literally called him a chicken during that event. When they mistakenly labelled some other dude as Riddick Bowe on the screen, Lennox said "Riddick Bowe looks like a chicken". Was pretty funny but I guess he's still holding on to that grudge. Lennox seems petty. He's easily offended (Rahman gay comments come to mind).

So sad that Lennox looks like he could fight right now, and Bowe looks like one of the old men in the barbershop in Coming to America.

**** Lewis then. For a guy that feels Bowe ducked him he sure feels insecure to allways prove that he was right. Bowe was the same, who would have thought that Bowe would be a bigger man and make a first step.

I noticed that even in Joe Rogan show recently Lewis said all the same things he did like 18 years ago, like he would rehearsal it every day in mirror.

Only when Joe kept pushing that Tyson was not at his best could he finally admit that it was true.

He seems stuck in past compered for example to Tyson.

Lennox still has the same competitive mindset cant seem to let it go.

Lennox is ATG and should just chill he has nothing to prove.

Even Larry Holmes seems to have let it go…

That was funny. Can't believe the Fox boxing broadcast crew zoomed in on a closeup of that guy and wrote "Riddick Bowe" under his face and broadcast it ... and Lennox Lewis had to correct them.

That reminded me of one time I was at a fight card, and between fights they were announcing celebrities who were there. The announcer said "All-time great College Football, NFL and Major League baseball star, Bo Jackson!"

And everyone cheered. And some old black guy in the bleachers stood up and waived. And everyone clapped. And the people around me were like Bo Jackson really looks bad. Man, he's aged.

Then, a while later, I was walking to get a drink I found myself walking behind the real Bo Jackson, who looked just like he did in his playing days. And I laughed at the old guy who had stood up and got a round of applause.

The old guy who they identfied as Bowe should've taken a bow and started throwing punches when the camera zoomed up to him. ;)

Know the nice guy Lennox is Ive no doubt he's helping out an old adversary who fell on hard times . He's not the type to do it for show

Lewis looks like he doesn't trust him IMO and stays a little on edge because of it.

I didn’t get that impression. Lewis’ body language looked like he was anticipating another altercation. When Bowe came in for the handshake instead he was really caught off guard and didn’t really know how to appraise the situation.

Evander Holyfield being a real friend to Bowe must have talked some sense into him.

Exactly, its like he's rewinding his career 24/7. Tyson never told story about their sparring but Lennox has been telling that story like 1 million times, in boring way. He even claimed he had video tape of it, yet there's no proof.

Yea, think that has to do with the way hes perceived. Even while on top, people's looked at Lewis as having a boring personality. And now in the retirement days, Tyson is still a much more of a fan favorite than Lewis despite probably having a better boxing career. Holmes had the same problem because his reign was sandwiched between Tyson's and Ali's.
