A regular live show from Mexico was going to be part of the schedule. We’ve had one, several months ago.
I often go on Box.live to remind myself what fights are coming up and on which TV channel. We've got Smith JR vs Johnson on BT Sports, Eubank JR vs Williams on Sky, Khan Vs Brook on Sky, Taylor Vs Catterall on Sky. Some decent fights to look forward to from Sky considering they've had to build a stable from scratch, but nothing from DAZN for the first two months of 2022, is that right? If so, that's pretty shoddy for a total price of £15.98
I really hope I´m wrong but I do not believe in any boxing events in the U.K. in either January or February 2022.
To say Sky had no fighters a few months ago their schedule is impressive. Eubank v Williams and Taylor v Catterall are good domestic fights and despite its critics Khan v Brook still has intrigue and will have a big build up.
I very much agree and think it's impressive how quickly Sky Sports Boxing has gotten back on its feet.
Are there any updates / news on what DAZN intends to do in January and February 2022 ? I know it's a difficult situation, but I think they should issue a press release.
If they came out and said no shows, people would cancel their subscriptions. My guess is they'll say absolutely nothing.
Eddie and his associates have gone to ground. This is even more noticeable as he never missed a trick to comment one way or another on every minutiae, boxing-wise. Where are you Eddie, now we need you?
