Historically the top 2 has never been a debate. Ali and Louis deservedly so is universally the top 2. Number 3 always is so interchangeable and usually is based on preference. Larry Holmes and Wlad racked up a lot of defenses and had long reigns. Holyfield have big wins over Bowe, Moorer, Mercer and Tyson. Lewis have a big win over Holyfield and beat alot of ex-champs and contenders.

I’ll probably go with Foreman who destroyed a prime Joe Frazier and Ken Norton.

Marciano deserves at least a option to vote for.

Ali and Louis are head and shoulders above the rest.

Next up is a list of interchangable dudes for me: Rocky Marciano, Jack Johnson, Lennox Lewis, Larry Holmes, George Foreman. Can change every other day of the week.

Where are Rocky Marciano, Riddick Bowe, Jack Johnson and Vitaly Klitschko?:dunno
They were a lot better than Joe Frazier and Wladimir Klitschko (also a bit than Holyfield and Dempsey)

Be careful, the casuals will flood the thread and make up lies about him.

    Ali, foreman and tyson.

Tyson a long way off in terms of longetivity but in terms of who was the best on a given night...i,d put him in there at third. You dont do what he did to a division at 20 years old unless your a bit special.

Foreman as second....he went downhill a bit after the ali loss....but without ali who would have stopped him. Really showed in his second career how good he really was. Who comes back at that age...out of shape like he was...sat on the sofa for about ten years to come back and win a title and compete pretty impressively against morrison and holyfield etc. To me that really showed how good george really was and how good that era was. George in at 2.

Ali at 1. Has there ever been anyone that sidetracked so many potentially alltime great careers. Liston, frazier and foreman. If ali was never born...heavyweight boxing history would have been different. Liston would of and should have went down better than he is today. Foreman the same....and frazier would have also been unrivalled for longer before foreman came along anyway. Ali number one.

Tbf marciano and louis just a bit before my time. But from what i,ve seen i,d go them three.

    This is a joke?
Fury it could be ATG top 3 HW, but lets wait for his career to end first. Lets see what his legacy is.
Wilder and AJ dont deserve it.
Muhammad Ali and Joe Louis deserve it even though they were handicapped. Muhammad Ali for not serving in the army; Joe Louis for serving in the army.
The third could it be Wladimir Klitschko, Larry Holmes, Lennox Lewis...

    Ali, Holmes and Foreman.

I'd love to put Lennox in here because I think he may be h2h the best, but at their absolute peaks:
    Ali didn't lose,
    Holmes didn't lose,
    Foreman only lost to Ali.

Those are hard stats to counter.

Taking into account historical significance and dominance of there era’s I’d go with Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali

Other fighter’s I considered were Marciano, Foreman , Holyfield and Tyson. If I had any question in the top 3 I’d say Johnson could be the most questionable.
