Seems like Ortiz declined the IBF Eliminator vs. Hrgovic, and Joseph Parker will be offered the fight. Who do you think would win, if this fight takes place?

Haven't really seen enough of Hrgovic in a stressful situation to decide if he can beat Parker.

If it is a true eliminator,

I think Parker will take it

In other words - it needs to be for the true MANDATORY

I like this fight for Parker

He takes this easier than Chisora....

Wow I'm shocked, never saw that coming, considering how Ortiz has never ducked anyone and fought so many top fighters like Kaufmann, Flores, Cojanu and of course when he agreed to fight Wilder for 500K when he probably could of gotten 10 times that for Joshua as his mandatory.

Hopefully the win over Chisora will give Parker some confidence and he takes the Hrgovic fight.

Why would Ortiz not want this fight? What was the offer? I don't understand it, unless they were offering
$50,000 or something like that. A chance for a belt, a resonably high profle up and coming opponent, probably
    a PPV or televised match.

What possibly could his reason be?

He's not fighting because he thinks he may lose? Strange attitude for a professional boxer.

I'm not that surprised really. Ortiz is getting on and a fight with Andy Ruiz looks on the cards for him next. Nobody wants to fight Hrgovic even though he is pretty much untested. Add to that the small purse - the Hunter/Hrgovic eliminator was around £170k/£130k split if I remember rightly. Hunter of course pulled out of that one. If Ortiz gets brutally KO'd for around $200k it's curtains for him.Plus that mandatory will take ages anyway behind AJ/Usyk, then Fury and probable rematch. If he fights Ruiz Jnr he'll earn much more cash so fair play to the boogeyman here.

If Parker is next in line and doesn't want it then it would be Tony Yoka next in line? Think he has a fight scheduled against Martin Bakole? They could announce the winner of that gets Hrgovic in a final eliminator. They're in no rush with that belt queue.

A source familiar with the situation has informed *******.com that an injury is the cause for Ortiz not being available for this fight. Ortiz suffered a fractured hand in his win over Martin, with the time required to heal outside of the scope to negotiate terms for an eliminator with Hrgovic.

Sucks for Luis. But, if Ortiz can't fight in the time frarme specified, move on to the next. Fans don't want to wait for fights. We've waited enough. Parker is in shape. Nothing is broken. He should take it.

We need to keep the fights rolling.

They all had a lot of time off. They all need to keep fighting.

If Parker won't, move on to Yoka. He is fit. He was supposed to fight in a couple weeks.
