Right! I mean what's Beterbiev's best win, Gvozdyk? Tavoris Cloud? He's going from there to ko'ing heavyweights? Unbelievably 13 people in the poll said Beterbiev was too big ,too strong and too powerful for Shavers? That's delusional.

Shavers is a small cruiserweight by todays standards. Picking Beterbiev over a small cruiserweight who wasn't very good isn't exactly a big leap. And Beterbiev likely hits harder than some of the guys who actually stopped Shavers.

This isn't Lennox Lewis by any means

A small cruiser wouldn`t have dropped Holmes with one shot the way Shavers did and neither would Beterbiev who Holmes would have destroyed.

    I've seen the fight too.

I've also seen your posts on here too. So maybe your perspective and interpretation is not the most reliable

You said it yourself. Who you think. But what you or anyone else thinks has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on what I think. People can play the part of the sheep if they want but they can never play the part of the shepherd with me.

The part I'm playing is devil's advocate to people who instinctively dismiss certain fighters/certain types of fighters chances because they have an agenda or they're brainwashed sheep and their picks are always or almost always slanted in a certain direction. I just try to be fair and encourage others to try to do so too which for some strange reason they're extremely loathe to do. If I listened to people like you Usyk would never have even unified down at CW let alone up at HW.

And in case you didn't notice I never even picked Beterbiev to beat Shavers and nothing I said was unreasonable whatsoever.

Listen Marky, I'm as big a fan of the great man Usyk as anyone on this forum but even I wouldn't go that far and for what it's worst neither would he

Q: Oleksandr, you won most everything as an amateur, including the gold at the 2012 Olympics. Who would you say gave you your hardest fight as an amateur?

Oleksandr Usyk: “Well, all those fights, they all took place within the last couple of years or so, so it’s hard to say. Maybe, if I was pushed to say, it was Artur Beterbiev of Russia who gave me my roughest fight. He is very aggressive and he does hit very hard.”

    Beterbiev 185-187lbs

    Usyk 211lbs - Nistor 233lbs
    Usyk 213lbs - Modugno 277lbs
    Usyk 210lbs - Majidov 235lbs
    Usyk 211lbs - Joyce 238lbs
    Usyk 209lbs - Brechlin 263lbs
    Usyk 208lbs - Fa 246lbs

Sorry but Beterbiev is nowhere near Usyk`s level, he`s very limited in terms of skill by comparison.

It was an amateur fight, they just kept punching because it`s only three rounds, Usyk couldn`t use the feinting style he uses in the pros, he`s far better now and Beterbiev`s defense was very bad in that match, Joyce would destroy Beterbiev now so would Dubois.

Betrebiev doesn`t have the ability to hit harder than Frazier did and no way could he take te punishment Ali took in Manilla nor could he take the hook that floored Ali in the 15th v Frazier, he also doesn`t hit as hard as Foreman did, Liston`s jab was 84 inches Beterbiev`s reach is only 73 inches.

Beterbiev can keep punching for 12 rounds

And he can close the distance very effectively

Usyk could do whatever he wants. He's Usyk

Why randomly throw Joyce and Dubois in there?
