I didn’t even bother staying up for AJ Ruiz. Saw the weigh in and thought what’s the point. Nearly spat my cornflakes out when I caught the result on here in the morning!

Im with you on that. I always thought Warrington ascension was impeccably timed. Caught the right fighters at the right time. Which made it all the more ironic when he got a hiding from a cherry pick gone wrong.

I thought Audley Harrison would beat David Haye. I even put some money on it.

I've no excuses and still carry that shame with me.

Wilder to destroy Fury in the first fight.

John Murray to beat Kevin Mitchell.

    Maidana to KO Khan.

Groves to beat Froch by KO in second fight.

When Joshua knocked him down early, I thought we are in for a quick finish.

30 secs later and Adam Smith is in meltdown mode on the commentary.

Could not believe what was unfolding in front of our eyes and I could not believe how Joshua folded when facing such a limited opponent.

Same with the groves v froch one. Tbf fancied groves in the first fight but the second did seem a foregone conclusion.

I still say froch only won that second fight because to his credit he holed himself down at the olympic camp and worked himself into the ground with mckracken plus groves lost a bit of spark between fight one and two. Was never the same fighter as he was in that first fight again.

Groves was always vulnerable tho and froch the complete opposite. Would have been interesting to see a proper end to that first fight. Terrible stoppage but no one will ever know 100 percent...if the stoppage was right there or groves was unravelling. Gut feeling says groves would have unravelled but wasnt near a genuine stoppage so who really knows. The ref cost both fighters either way you look at it...could have been a resounding genuine comeback win from froch or george could have rode it out.

Lewis Vs Rahman: I thought this would be an easy win for Lewis. Heard rumours he wasn't taking the fight seriously etc but thought nothing of it. Could see Lewis gasping for air early in the fight and I knew then it was a bad sign. Was a lovely KO from Rahman.

Put money on Cotto to beat Pac. Remember the bookie telling me it was the first bet for Cotto they'd taken!

Thought surely Whyte won't price himself out of another world title shot but here we are.

I thought Joshua would destroy Ruiz with ease first time around. My brain couldn't compute any other outcome. I also thought Joshua would probably beat Usyk.

I thought Wilder would beat Fury in their first fight.

I never ever rated Deontay Wilder - just saw him as a big puncher but was too crude to beat anyone of note in the heavyweight division. I was absolutely certain Audley Harrison would beat him - could box a little and certainly had some pop in his shots. How stupid I felt after it!

Paddy Barnes to beat Rosales - I felt Paddy’s peak a boo style from the amateurs would serve him well soaking up pressure and out boxing him.

Allen v Price. Hardly a match to get excited about but I was sure Allen would do a number on Price and could see no way of Price winning. Was glad to be wrong having said that.

    Ricky Hatton - Mayweather
    Ricky Hatton - Pacquiao
    David Haye - Klitschko
    Daniel Dubois - Joe Joyce
    Joshua - Ruiz
    Joshua - Usyk

Not ashamed to say I've called it wrong so many times. The ones above I was somewhat emotionally invested in, or were a complete shock to me.
