    Quality over quantity?

I don't think Mathis was ranked when Quarry beat him, hence I left him out.

Well you are a carbon copy of him, so as long as you're here no one can complain that they miss him

Neither a compliment nor an insult. Just an observation. Hopefully the real mcvey will be back soon to prove me right or wrong. You're a decent stand-in anyway.

Quality over quantity, yes, up to a point.

Like I said before, not all 'ranked men' are equal, and not all 'unranked' are unworthy of being compared to the ranked. There are many degrees.

    He was banned for life.
I'll keep his place warm for him anyway.

I can't argue with that, different eras produce different levels of skills.
    Personally I think:
    Lyle
    Shavers
    Foster
    Spencer
Even Mathis, clean up on all but a couple of the guys Ingo beat.

I don't think Ingo lacked courage but he had little variety and his technique was very basic. You're absolutely right about his chin against Jerry's power though.

Yeah. I miss the old curmudgeon. He has great insight from 60's and 70's ringsides.
