It's 'whataboutery' though, finding other examples of inequity in this 'sport' doesn't make this example invalid.

The thing that bugs me the most about Whyte's fake status as "avoided" and "long overdue" contender, is how he got that dodgy win over Parker, no rematch given .... but Povetkin KO'd him and was tied straight to a rematch.

I thought Parker deserved a draw anyway, and that was with the referee protecting Whyte.
Of course, if you listen to the SKY commentary, they tell you Parker lost every round and deserved to lose because he didn't like being fouled non-stop.

No If's. He won't fight all 3 of those guys based off his track record. And he is currently calling out a guy from UFC. And yes, I care that he ducks Whyte because it shows how much of a coward he is. Parker is his friend so he won't fight him. Joyce is currently hurt. Ruiz looked like dog crap against Arreola so who cares? And if Fury is stripped or vaccates the WBC, do you really think Usyk or AJ will fight him then? Or will they go for unification with the belt holder? My point is, Fury is caught in between a rock and a hard place. If he was a true champion, fighting Whyte would be no problem. But he is doing everything he can to swerve the fight and he has about 5 more days until a purse bid. Then I am sure he and Arum will try and pull something else out of their collective asses. This situation and the Hrgovic situation have both shined a bright light on how these boxers think and act today. Run around claiming they are the best or that they want a title shot. But when it comes down to it, they really want the easiest fights and money. Also, notice how every time a good fight is about to happen invloving Fury, there is somehow a problem? Klitschko rematch, Haye, AJ, Wilder, Whyte. But he has no problems fighting Seferi, Schwar, Pianetta and other bums. That's not a coincidence.

Yes because mandatory defences serve a purpose in the sense they don't allow champions to avoid certain challengers. The only fight which a champion should be able to delay a mandatory defence for is a unification.

Said it before but why is it that we never saw or see these issues with AJ. AJ's fights seem pretty seamless in getting made. The money man of the division who basically called the shots but he doesn't make it hard work to get fights made.

I don't think the alphabet sanctioning bodies deserve that much credit.

Lemar Dean Kambosos Whyte Jr has said on Boxing Social that Fury would struggle to sell 5k tickets against anyone other than Whyte in the UK.

Whyte avenge his loss against one the top HWs. Whyte has best resume in the divison for guy who hasn't had a title in beating a former WC in Parker, current Bridgerweight champion Rivas, beaten chisora x 2 and Helenius.

I would say Joyce is the next most deserving of the title shot. I think Yoka will duck Hrgovic for the IBF mandatory challenger fight and it would be offered to choice. There is also a possibility of the WBO mandatory fight which is speculated to be between him Parker (which is why I believe Parker ducked Hrgovic as I think the Joyce fight would be the more lucarative fight).

‘Current bridgerweight champion’ holds about as much weight as a balloon.

Not to mention Whyte was up to the gills on the special sauce to beat the esteemed Bridgerweight champion Rivas.

But let's forget about that, under Eddie's instruction.

Haye pulled out twice, with injury. I'm not sure how that can be blamed on Fury.

The first Wilder fight was made quite quickly on Fury's return, while Eddie Hearn and a lot of other sceptics said they were sure it wouldn't happen.

Fury has fought Wilder 3 times. The only real problem was when Fury wanted to get out of the third fight, the fight "no one wanted" because of how badly he'd beat Wilder in the second fight.

Some of your anti-Fury arguments are true and vaild, but you go way too far.

That's because AJ actually WANTS to fight the other guys. Fury does not want to fight Whyte or most of the top contenders. If you don't believe me, just take a look at Fury's record. How many current top heavyweights are on there? And he's been fighting for 13 years.

OK. Then explain Seferi, Schwarz, Pianetta and the rest of the bums on Fury's resume? Other than Wilder and an old Klitschko, name all the best opponents for Fury? Explain how a guy can get caught on PEDs and no one ever brings it up? Go throughout history and name another heavyweight champion who has 1 title defense in 6 years...and still has fans defending him ducking a mandatory. Fury is currently doing everything he can to duck the mandatory Whyte fight and people are STILL giving him a pass on it after 2 years of almost no fights. If you ask me, I'm not going far enough on this fraud. Joe Louis fought a bunch of bums but at least he fought them every month. What other heavyweight champion has had to be taken to court (now twice in 6 months) to make him actually fight someone decent? champions are supposed to WANT to fight the best, not run from them.
