Lewis always seems to have his guard up with Bowe. Even here.

Why would Tyson ever want to step foot in a ring with Lewis again? He'd be like Joe Frazier showing up for that Foreman rematch -- you sure that's a good idea bro?

They all should hang up their gloves and accept that it's over.

Yeah Lewis didn't look real into it there. I guess that moment was forced on him with no notice. Big props to both guys for the great moments!

Wait though, LennOx and Mike again? Can we not?

What is it about Lewis? The man seems impossible to warm to. He lacks any charisma, is totally aloof, arrogant and full of himself. Don't know why he has such a chip on his shoulder. He seems to have left boxing with health and wealth intact, unlike his contemporaries.

He has ATG status despite two horrible losses and it can be argued without a really great performance. The only times he fought ATGs they were well past their sell by dates and even then he fought cautiously. He's one of the few that boxing hasn't ruined. Lighten up a bit, Lennox. Look at the state of Bowe and be grateful you got Holyfield seven years after he did.

First off, excellent post. My only addition is that Bowe has been openly hostile to Lennox for thirty years and then out of left field decides to be friendly .. of course Lennox seemed both shocked and slow to grasp the whole thing .. I can't blame him ..

Yeah no thanks to these retired old timers. No entertainment value to me, but I’m all for monies going to charities.

These guys should leave memories of themselves in their hay day where they belong.

Good addition, he grant. In this instance, his reaction, towards Bowe at least, seems fair enough.

I hope those two get past all that super old garbage and get on. Bowe is the bigger man here.

Lewis already knows his ranking of ATG is around 9 or 10 ahead of him. What's he worried about? The man tried to to make things right. Good on him.

I only feel sorry for Bowe in the sense that, in my opinion, he had the potential to be a greater fighter than Lewis ever was, possibly even Holyfield. He took advice from a real scumbag agent named Rock and then seemed to not care too much anymore.

I also thought he won that second Holyfield fight, another bad break for him...however, it was obvious even then he wasn't the quality of the first Holy fight. He just gave up...not something to be proud of.

Rock Newman. Yeah, one of the many that got a good drink out of Bowe.
