    Is this a fair breakdown?

    Young Phenom: '85-'87

    Peak: '88-'89

Post peak still in prime: '90-91

Early Post Prison end of prime:'95-'97

    Post prime fighter washed:'99-2005

No, he peaked in 1988 then Rooney was fired and he was never the same, Williams lost cause of his chin and because he got caught, Tyson looked sloppy in the Bruno fight and was hurt badly, no head movement.

Fair enough would post-peak still prime be '89-'91 then? Was the Tyson who lost to Douglas the same who won against the above two guys in your view?

Peak was the Spinks fight in 88 and then he declined rather quickly afterwards ... His performance against Bruno showcased his lack of mental focus and the deterioration of his skills.

Got caught by Douglas in 90 then rebounded ... I still consider this part of his prime years ... His prime was over when he got to prison and had two strong showings against Ruddock before that

And then he was washed up from 1999 onwards after the bite fight with Holyfield ... And sadly his career became a complete trainwreck **** show towards the end

    Yes

Nobody exits their prime at age 23/24 .... Most in boxing actually enter their prime a bit later than that but we know Tyson reached his prime by 87 by age 20

Had he cared then you wouldn't need to ask that question ... He didn't care about boxing by 1990
