Okolie is young and bigger, Briedis is old and smaller. Prime Briedis could beat Okolie, but now he is old. Canelo beats Briedis.
Yeah because Canelo's team aren't dodgy ****ers. Just because there is no disclosure does not at all mean his fights aren't fixed. The evidence is in the ridiculous fights themselves, and not even having some consideration that his fights are suspect means you are simply a Clenelo fanboy who will fall for anything. I mean who tf would not question that Canelo Kovalev fight for a start. That is not the performance of someone who is concussed that is someone who has been paid not to win. If you don't question that fight then I'm sorry you're objectively an idiot
Why not? He looks the same, only difference is that he doesn't cut as much weight. If he was cutting 12-15 lbs to make 160, now he's cutting 4-7 lbs. Being that he's in his absolute peak I think he can still safely and comfortably make 160. With that said, Canelo is that A side and he will have the MW fighters come to him.
This is reason why Eddie didn't had offered decent contract during all last year. Definitely. No. This fight will not happen anyway. Canelo is good in 168 lbs division. Makabu with new WBC 190 lbs supposed limit will be beatable for Canelo. To beat ( insert list with names ) 200 lbs boxers who are 202-209-213-215 lbs in the ring. They aren't so small like Bet or Kovalev. Why Canelo should jump to 200 lbs division and fight vs dudes like Dorticos, Tabiti etc. He isn't Holyfield or prime shape Usyk in his best ever condition. How much money Briedis might generate with fight vs Canelo? A 209-215 lbs Briedis will steamroll in clinch any 175 lbs division boxer. Not alone 168 lbs division boxer. Is he better than Loma? Doesn't matter, even vs old Huck Loma will leave ring cos he will fly out of the ring. Size does matters and therefore weight classes in boxing are for a reason. Old or not, he will be better in clinch than even Usyk and just a bit worse boxer than Usyk and Holy.
Canelo would have no chance whatsoever against Breidis. Do you have some evidence that Breidis is declining that the rest of us don't know about?
Well, the same Makabu, let's compare. Bellew had stopped Makabu, but when WBC told that he should fight vs vinner of Huck vs Briedis, Bellew had vacated his WBC CW title belt. Makabu had win vs 40 y.o Durodola. Briedis had win vs then 35 y.o Durodola who then had WBC Silver belt and had been ranked by WBC #2, this means 3 rd best in the world according to WBC. If Duradola had won this one, he had been turned into mando for WBC CW World title fight sooner or later. Makabu long ago might had fight vs Briedis, I think, cos he had been offered. I even don't have intent to talk about Briedis alone. There are xx boxers in CW division who might be nightmare for any 175 lbs, not alone 168 lbs division. These are 200-202-209-215 lbs, some 220 lbs in the ring. Jacobs from GGG fight was 182 lbs, Kovalev not more than some 184-185-186 lbs in the ring.
How long have you been watching boxing? Not all boxers decline at the same time, and Breidis has been doing some of his best work in the last couple of years. There is ZERO evidence of decline.
Yildirim was a mandatory. All this BS about cherry picking, he was unified at 160 and then fought all the champs at 168. Yes kovalev was a cherry pick. But i dont see GGG, Andrade, Charlos, or even Benevidez actually fighting the other champs. Like ffs hes fought more champs than any of the active guys youve mentioned. Whether he fights charlo or mukumba, thats still a better choice than any of the other guys you mention. Altho i think he is ducking beterbiev, but damn who wouldnt...
