I’d Pick Max for this one. Real tough fight but Max chin saves him here while Williams eventually lets him down

Williams looks a better boxer than Baer, I think that is undeniable, Baer was crude as ****, often backhanding opponents.He had a great chin and a great right hand that's it.

 

Everybody that Baer knocked out, was a better boxer than him on paper.

 

I'm not disputing that ,but it is irrelevant when comparing his skill set to Williams.

 

Yeah and Baer faced and beat far more ranked contenders than Williams.

 

Comiskey in his prime lost to guys like the 14-22-2 "Big boy" Brown twice, and Clayton Worlds. If Williams had losses of these caliber, anywhere even remotely close to his prime, we'd never hear the end of it from you.
