I never said he slapped. you did I was quoting your comment.
Also the fact this never came up in a fight means your point is invalid.
I'm sure if he actually slapped at any point he would have been warned and docked points but that never happened did it?
So you and Aussie Invader hate european fighters? So your like a bargain basment Herol Gee...
I get it your small minded low IQ with a chip on the shoulder.... Gotcha.

Hopkins would never have been Middleweight Champion if it wasn’t for Jones and Toney moving up the divisions. It’s not even close tbh just look at what Jones achieved throughout his career. If Jones could have walked away from boxing after beating Ruiz for the Heavyweight title he would have been right in with a shout as goat. Jones was told he’d never be the same from numerous sources after going to Heavyweight and moving back down and history shows it to have been true. I did have Hopkins beating Calzaghe but his comments before the fight put paid to him getting the nod.

Slaughtered? I don't know about that. I think he would have lost, but would have made a good fight out of it.

Total BS !! Truth is I support FIGHTERS!! who earn their success like MEN!! not prima donnas who are allowed to skirt the rules. I don't care if a fighter is from Kazakstan , Kentucky Kensington or Kenya as long as he can & will FIGHT!!!

Exactly. This shouldn't be particularly close.

I’d call it close to a tie …
I’d rather have had Hopkins career.

but I voted for Roy as he beat Hopkins prime for prime.

It isn't at all, as over 3/4 have yet voted for Jones (the rest doesn't know something about boxing and is like the number of anti-vax people).

I don't think it's up for much debate really.
    Jones is greater than Hopkins.
Hopkins scores high in longevity but Jones has the best wins and was more dominant at his best, he was incredible, and was more accomplished at higher weights and even picked up a world title against a ranked heavyweight.

Jones beat Hopkins clearly when they were both young, and the rematch almost twenty years later was meaningless.
