How do you see this fight playing out? This fight seems pretty likely as Loma's targeting top 10 lightweight types to hopefully earn another world title shot.
Loma isn't just obviously a completely different level of fighter to oompa loomp Cruz he's a completely different species Just because that boulder-headed kangaroo reach oompa loomp Cruz should've got the decision against Twink and Haymon Protection Service's judges were there, as per usual, to bail out yet another one of their stars and save their undefeated record doesn't mean we should be pitting him in hypothetical match ups against boxing geniuses who've dared to be great like no other coming right out of the gate and who've taken risks like these other hypes won't even dream of doing in a million years. There's a reason why Twink is feasting on a diet of scrubs and oompa loomps like Cruz and chasing regular belts and paper titles and why he's been shamelessly ducking Loma for over six freaking years
Cruz could surprise. He's relentless, fearless, has a granite chin, and his body shots were killing Garbage Pail Gayvis. Gayvis should be 25-1.
Lomachenko stopping, or even winning a dominant UD over Cruz would make a statement. A way to say, "I beat Cruz, and I didn't need questionable judging to do it".
Cruz is the kind of guy that can give Loma a few problems he won't respect him and will pressure him non stop. With that said I would expect Loma to still win by decision.
Loma doesn't need to make any statements. He's done plenty of that throughout his outstanding career whilst taking risks none of these other hypes have or ever will and, unlike everyone else in the P4P top 10, whilst also routinely giving away huge physical advantages. He's fought 11 world champions in 18 fights for goodness sake (way more than any of them have in a lot more fights) and he would be undefeated if he had their home judges.
I ****ing hope not… I want to see him get a shot at a title in his next fight , whether they vacate or actually have the balls to fight him.. either way he's earned his way back into a title shot. No one wants to see him fight fkin Cruz ffs
