In fairness to spence we need to see if his eye holds up before putting him with Crawford.

I'm at the point where Crawford vs Ortiz is more exciting to me. The marinade is spoiled unless Spence comes back and shows that he's still the one against Ugas, Ortiz, or Ennis.

Obviously I'd still be happy for Crawford vs Spence, but the giddiness would be higher with Ortiz.

To be honest it's not a match up which has intrigued me as much as it does for many others. It's a great match up, one that needs to be made, and I definitely hope it happens and want to see it. However, I think both are overrated to a certain degree albeit I like Crawford and rate him highly, and it irks me how many act like it's some kind of SRL vs Duran kind of match up when in reality there are numerous equally good match ups to be made.

Agreed. I'm at the point where a Super Boots Ennis vs Ortiz or either of those guys against Crawford or Spence is more interesting to me.

Well he's telling the truth Crawford isn't as big as he should be.
That being sadid it looks like a duck from the outside.
I think it's a good idea to fight Ugas just to see gow Spebce looks as he's been inactive and eye injuries tend to be very hit and miss in terms of recovery. I think both sides are to blame for the fight not happening sooner. They both need each other to have that signature win on there resume and not just fighting shot Brit fighters.

Sure,. But they are still bitches for not wanting Crawford fight. At the very least they could start building up the fight. Say something back when Crawford called him out....but they go silent.

Anyone who won't fight someone because they aren't PPV worthy, when they themselves are not a draw....is a blatant duck.

I remember the time when PBC was hailed as the anti PPV. Free boxing on tv for all!
No more quality fights behind a paywall, but on ESPN and comparable channels! The future of boxing!

Paying boxers big bucks for free to air fights... a brilliant businessmodel that couldn't fail...

Now we're at the "Crawford isn't a PPV star" point. Really PBC?!

That fight was HALF the cost of a regular PPV ($39.99).

If' we're being 100% transparent, there really is only one PPV star (in the US). And it ain't Crawford or Spence (who I'm big fans of both)

I can't think of one. But for me the 180 on PPV vs free to air is the huge pink elephant standing in the middle of the room here. Right next to the smaller bright green elephant, representing their own lack of PPV stars.

Being a PPV star just means you're marketable, not that you're a good fighter.

Yup. Chavez Jr. is the epitome of this.
