I know what you're thinking....Sharkey has no chance. But hear me out...Sharkey beat Primo Carnera who was the same size as Vitali and fought in a similar style. And Vitali wouldn't be used to the agility and nimbleness that Sharkey would bring.
I think that Vitali should be the favorite because of his combination of size, skills and consistency. That said, Sharkey could be a very tricky opponent for lumbering giants like Vitali. He had this kind of unpredictability that caused caused Vitali problems in Byrd fight. Jack at his peak could outpoint Vitali, but I wouldn't bet on it.
