Go on then. Go do that and. Show me where Wilder weighs more than Whyte. because I already know its BS. And you had to find the ONE TIME!!!!!! In 45 fights he chose to bulk up lift weights and get to his heaviest. but guess what? Even at 238 pounds its still light for 6 foot 7 whyte is 5 inches shorter so OBVIOUSLY that comes into account. but you are clueless on this completely. Why do you think BMI calculators take into account height?? You’re winding me up
Not sure why you're so upset. Are you personally involved in this? I couldn't care less who gets paid what, but sanctioning bodies get their 3% off the filed purse, so that's what they care about. If Whyte files $400,000 and Fury files $6,000,000, that means Fury makes 15x more and deserves to have the split modified from 70/30 to 80/20.
This will be a repeat of the Fury Chisora fights where Fury will torture Whytes face with his slaps, only difference is that Fury will eventually end it with a violent Ko
https://fightnews.com/fury-wilder-by-the-numbers/122184 According to numbers filed with the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Fury’s purse was $6 million
Okay so you don’t know anything about the actual numbers submitted to the WBC for the purse split. Just your best guess.
When did Whyte last weigh 238 or below? And outside that one fight Wilder routinely weighs around 220. He's extremely light for the division.
Filed purses with the commission are public information and it is absolutely unheard of to file a lower number with the sanctioning body than you did with the commission as the sanctioning body knows the number you submitted with the commission. So $6,000,000 is the absolute minimum he submitted to the WBC for that fight.
Crazy the amount of people arguing Whyte deserves more money. The man has spent years trying to get a title shot, he now has one. Should be biting his hand off ffs
No, Whyte was a bit over 112 kg for his last fight. And he is more compact and doesn't have as thin legs. I'd be surprised if Fury will be able to push Whyte around as easily as he did Wilder.
