Nice man my current favourites to watch are Verhoeven and Plazibat. Semmy Schilt and Mighty Mo are probably my all time favourite Kickboxers to watch.

Even in the UK, you can defend yourself with a gun but must step back first from an altercation. Hell that's true even in gun happy Texas. You have to prove your life was in danger.

I'm talking on the street, not in a ring.

If you look up Peter Aerts top 20 knockouts more than half of them were due to head kicks!

Yeah still let's all try and avoid all street altercations as it's for the best haha. What you said earlier about kicking being feminine might have been true like 60+ years ago but many Thai fighters and Kickboxers have proven that not to be true now. The thing is when people think of kicking people genuinely have no idea how to do it, look back when Elijah Tillery kicked RIddick Bowe in their first fight, embarrassing!

For example there was a fighter called Remy Bonjasky who relied on kicks/knees and had little boxing but at times it did lead to him knocking some very good fighters down because they just didn't expect it. There's also fighters like Mike Bernardo, Jerome Le Banner, Mighty Mo, Ray Sefo and Antonio Plazibat who use boxing much more and don't usually mix in kicks other than basic leg kicks.

Verhoeven is a good all round champion. He is a great role model for the sport and done a lot to get kickboxing more exposure. Like the AJ of kickboxing. His fights against Ben Saddik were amazing. He got so much heart.

Nothing in life brings me greater pleasure or satisfaction than watching boxers and the inferior martial art of boxing get brutally exposed when they cross over to try their hand at real man combat sports, the tiny handful of them with man-sized plums who have managed to summon the courage to do so that is because 99% of the time it's practitioners of superior martial arts who cross over into the boxer's domain to fight them under their rules

Because it's been predominantly more of an Asian and European continent thing (the Dutch for example) & not as popular in America & UK..

Do you ever see a celebrity attending an MMA event? No.

Trump attended MMA events to get votes from lower class.

He does. He's actually team Pedro Diaz and a sparring partner of fellow Team Diaz member Hrgovic

Junior Dos Santos, who also has very good hands, is also Team Diaz
